Injectors vs. 64/71/14

i have a set of 7x.018's that im looking to get rid of, i have run them for about 10k and lots of pulls on them and havent had any problems with them. they do run hot with my bullet and lots of W/M so the 64 would be to small for them

How hot does it get with your bullet & no meth?
 
I've been getting a few pm's asking if I'm gonna sell my M5's. NO WAY!!!!!! LOL I'm only gonna test my friends injectors & see if performance is any better sled pulling & thats it. LOL
 
i have seen 1900 deg with the meth off, scared the chit out of me. and its warm cruising on the highway at 65 mph i usually see 8-900 at 1psi.
 
it would have kept climbing but i saw the gauge and let out, there really nice on the street and dont get to bad of mileage, the only down fall is the smoke all the time

He is delivering them today. I'm gonna give them a try. I've been searching the forums & haven't found one thread saying that 7 hole nozzles cracked....except for a few 12v & CR nozzles. One 24v, but he thinks it was caused by a cooling nozzle breaking off & overheating the cylinder. Anyone had a nozzle crack?
 
Got my valvecover & Airhorn sandblasted, painted today. Matt brought the injectors over to me today [What a cool dude]. I'll install them tomorrow & post some pics up.

Matt ran them a couple years with no issues. I am only gonna run them for a very short time to see how my truck does. If they work well, I may get some 6x.016's for pulling. I just wanna know what this vp44 has left in it...its surprised me in the past.
 
You are well aware of the pay to play. Cant hurt to compare them. Sell your smarty? I thought that was part of your combo to get over 4k smoothly?

I don't go to the drag strip & Street racing isn't my thing. Only time I need the revs is when I'm pulling. I have a Redline box for that. I'm not gonna sell Smarty, just throwing ideas out there, but I've decided to keep it.
 
Alright, got the injectors in, valvecover on & took it for a short test drive. I think the stock connector tubes aren't enough to flow the fuel to these big azz injectors. If I punch it, it stumbles, then revs out. They are very smokey cruising around and egts are not nearly as bad as I thought they would be. I noticed that the engine sounds very different, but still very smooth. There is no way to control the smoke with the box on, but without the box, I can drive it with only a light haze. Cruising on flat ground at 55mph, I saw 673* average over a 3 mile stretch. Here is a readout from my datalogger.
