do you have lock-up?? and where did your input shaft break?? inside converter or by the drum? not having lock-up will def. drop you a half sec.

just throwing it out there.

that's his favorite switch in the truck ! :tree: I think he might be a little more shy with it now though ???

I'd really question whether or not the rail pressure sensor is working correctly. If it's bad, how do you really know actual rail pressure? We've all seen pressure add a lot of HP on some trucks so it could be rail pressure sensor related.

lol.....Yeah, As TY said thats my favorite switch!! :rockwoot:

Yeah..Lock up seems fine....Jeff made it a little softer with the new mods to the VB but it's still there and it's not slipping....

Even if, Lack of Lock up would soon enough Would hurt the ET a bit but it's the 6 MPH loss in trap speed that dictates the Major Power Loss.....right near 100 hp loss....

Thanks for the thought though!!

I'd love for it to be something simple like this....I hope to get to try a different / new one soon...

BTW, anyone know what a NEW RP sensor cost from Cummins??

Wow Shane, where the heck have you been hiding,,, havent seen you in ages on here

about the lower price you'll find..... half way down the page

http://hoeslidiesel.com/store/page13.html

you might find this interesting too.....

fuel rail pressure sensor

I have bought the MAP and IAT sensor from them. Great price and no problems with order or delivery. I want a new rail pressure sensor also to help diagnose my power loss. At $198 it is as cheap as I have found. But I can't decide on just the rail pressure sensor or the complete fuel rail manifold with rail pressure sensor and pressure relief valve for $320. Don't need a pressure relief valve right now, but they are expensive also.

What tranny are you running?

Nadp full meal deal.

Not sure were David's broke, mine broke inside the tranny, not in the converter.

Threw some TST on the smarty/mp8 stack, and it nets a obscene amount of fuel, and boost.

Not sure what to do with it, put that same shaft back in there, and the same stack will kill it in one run.
