verdict is in, rear freeze plug popped out!!! and hit clutch for sparks!! no cracks on block or any thing, Going to replace both rear freeze plugs and back of head freeze plugs while at it, for safety measure then pressure test coolant system
the real question is, what caused the freeze plug to come out? Maybe just the head gasket let go and pressurized the cooling system? Hopefully not something too bad...
I'm no expert but I wonder if when the turbo snuffed out and water kept coming if you hydrolocked a cylinder or two. Then the headgasket went and pressurized the cooling system enough to pop a freeze plug.
Better check piston protrusion while the head(s) is off to make sure you didn't bend a rod when it hydro locked.
Hate to be that guy, but I went to a pull competed and loaded back up at the end of the night. No carnage.....no place either somewhere past 7th place.:bang:hehe:
Good luck getting 'er fixed Joe, that's been one tuff 'ol powerpuke!LOLoke:
