It's Swole- HELP!!

i see 1749 now and then...like u i run shiftmaster off mp8 also see 1751 a lot but its never by itself....i just laugh when somethin comes up!

i see 0513 skim key...which is dumb ...just wish my rpg was back so i didnt see the damn lil light!
 
Now that you got it fixed somewhat not that y0ou have it in the shop but use some tabasco sauce and it will help clean the connections. hard to believe but it does work.

I can believe that. Years ago we put an old brown penny into some Taco Bell hot sauce and 20 minutes later it looked like new.
 
Ok folks. My luck is just The worst!!!

Found the code problem.. Had to just switch the b.f with the mp8 harness for some reason. Harness closet to the boost sensor....

Went for a short drive and taking it easy. Came back and now have an oil leak. Finally narrowed it down to my oil line for the 480. Its really short and got kinked up a couple times while tightening/losening a few times durring all my past /current work.

Gonna have to sleep hear I guess and pull my twin piping off to see if and can get to it without having to pull my top turbo. I just can't win!!

Pulling the compressor housing off the 480 sure makes it easy to get at the line.

Can I do that without removing my top turbo?

im pretty sure the line will have to be replaced. Hope I can find something tmrw.
 
Breather tube sensor

Still down here at Garmons. Just did my 2nd torque and installed my F1 springs.

P0237 Boost Low code pops Every time I turn the key on!!!! Clear it, It comes Right back.
It want let the truck hardly move down the road!

Need help. Whats causing this code and how do I fix this tonight???
I Want To Drive my Dang Truck!!!!!!

What sensors could cause this? I looked at the boost sensor in the manifold and it looked fine. What about the one in my air breather tube? Haven't pulled it. Battery box in the way.

BTW, When I rebuilt this truck, i used dielectric grease on just about every connection. Was that bad? Thought it would help keep out moisture and conduct better...

Thoughts? Before I give up and have to wait MORE time to drive it!

I have had that code b-4. I sprayed the breather tube sensor with brake cleaner and blew it off with air and reinstalled. NO code since.

Yeah no sweat.....I suppose as long as the housing clamp is in a handy place.

Big Swole Glad you got things back together. Sorry you are having more trouble. Hang in thier man! I think the saying goes "If it wasn't for bad luck, i'd have no luck at all".

Well so far its running pretty dang good, but with a few exceptions:

Now Im getting a random p0236 code that pops the CEL and cuts power. Same type boost sensor crap. Will be trying to figure it out later. Gotta be on duty all for the next three days...So far I can just clear it and drive a while.

Even though im back up in compression (apprx 16:1 vs 14:1) i STILL have that freakin rattle! I'm begging to think its my ecm. I expect to have the same power ( calculated load ) issue once I put the fuel to it. Right now im just taking it easy.

But with all things considered, im just happy to have a truck that rolls up hill at this point!! I'll work on the bugs a bit later when time and money are bi better.
