John Deere Cummins Rumor

Ok, so now it's perfectly normal to get hit will scalding engine parts at local pulls...hmm, guess I missed something somewhere...

and to throw a whole lot more gas on this fire...the fact that an engine of this sort is being built doesn't surprise or worry me...however, the group of incompetent retards building it does...I personally have fixed 15 to 20 pumps they've screwed up or cobbled together and I've also personally heard 10+ customers whose trucks have been screwed up and cobbled back together and some even overcharged for it...I know the quality of work they do and the lack of money or knowledge put into their products and WHEN this POS comes apart I will grin ear to ear posting it all over the world wide web and showing anyone else I come in contact with

Honestly unless you plan on pulling this year, stay out of it. Quit bein an armchair puller, theres nothing no one hates more. Either put up or shut up. We all have fun out there and none of the pullers argue about this ****, but someone that sits in the stands does??? You know what you are????:cheer:

Since you love to smart off...point out one place where I claimed I was an expert...that's right I didn't...I went the other way, stating that I have a lot of "safety net" to fall back on as I learn more and more about pumps by the knowledge the owners at DPE have, not my own knowledge (which is growing every day)

Also, if you know anything about NWTPA other than their website address...you should definitely know that teching is a joke in most aspects, especially in the pickups...I'm not slamming the association, but that's how it is...

Not counting sweeping floors I've worked on diesel engines for somewhere around 5 years...I'm 20 years old and by no means an expert, but I do know a hell of a lot more than the ever growing group of keyboard jockies online who know everything by reading their diesel magazine and copying what others post

It's blatantly obvious I do not care for St Joe Diesel at all, but putting that aside...no one here has proven to me yet how an engine built by this shop without necessary tooling or knowledge is safe to run down the track...had scheid, riverside, etc built the motor I would believe it to be safe...because they are ENGINE BUILDERS...

This is the last of my posts on this thread, so crucify me if you want...but the camera will be rolling come pulling season :Cheer:

Excactly the camera will be rolling from the STANDS. Until you build something of your own, dont critisize others. Im sure your truck will stay together fine, anything with 200 hp will.:thankyou2:

One more thing craig McElfriesh pulled at St. Peters MO last year with mmttpa, it was poping and coughing, talked to him for a while before hand, nice guy, talked about a dead cylinder before i ever heard the truck. Regardless mmttpa is a little more strict than nwmtpa from what i've seen when they tech my truck and my brothers truck.....so I guess they missed the c-series also?

Sounds like maybe you should work some longer hours instead of "running around". As for thier truck being a POS how did it place in points last year? 2nd place in points their first year out even after blowing two engines... sounds like they got some **** going for em. plus if they can't keep a stock engine together maybe they need to find something they can. Plus when did John Deere make a 440? Sounds like your "good friend" lied to you. I also didnt realize you could mill something that was on the floor... everytime ive used a mill the product was on the table... yeah the mill was on the floor because our hovercraft mill hadnt come in yet.... I'd be willing to bet steve has forgotten more than u will ever learn from your safety net. good luck with your truck and we'll see ya on the track.

Do the rules down there limit you to a 1 ton or less production block and head?

This is the way the rule reads: 26. OEM cylinder blocks and heads from 1 ton or smaller vehicles must be used.

it's a oem b-series block....never said it had to be stock bore or sleeves. just depends how you read the rules, I say It'll work, lets see it

Another question comes to mind. Have any of the "incompetent retards" bragged about how this thing is gonna run? From what I've heard they don't even know for sure if it'll make it. It's an idea, this is America, we should all try our ideas. I doubt they have ordered points champions jackets yet. If you're perfectly happy with cookie cutter trucks and doing what everyone else is then great, so be it. I guess you've been taught well. Must be a heck of a place to get bashed by your facebook club and now here. Might be fun to talk to them sometime when need some gofast goodies.
