I am going to run a PPE clutch set at 4200 plate load with crower sintered iron disc. I didnt want the weighted pp because it is for pullers only unless you dont mind pulling your tranny to service the damn thing. As the clutch wears, you have to adjust it so that it will continue to apply proper load to the friction pads. The weights limit how far the fingers can travel. Plus depending on how it is setup, the static plateload is really light like 2800 and if everything work like it should, in lock up the plate load could be around 5200 lbs. As gene said, though, when the rpms come down, the clutch can unhook and cost you distance. Plus if you let your buddy drive it and he revs it up to impress some girls, it is going to engage itself which could be very bad.LOL
