Hey boys and girs.

How big difference are between those two trannys (bouth 2wd):

1. 1500 '98 3.9 V6 -> 42RE
2. 2500 '98 5.9 Cummisn - > 47RE

I knew the transmission sternght is different , 47RE is strnonger


What parts are interchangeble?

Housing?
Electronics (solenoids) ?

Any ideas?
