looking for used turbo ideas to twin a S362 on the cheap

Some do put the box 75 on them. 6.7 engines seem to spool just about anything you throw on them for the most part. There are guys making 600+ with modified 351ve turbos but not a ton more than that. These 900+ horsepower runs are not realistic. You can spray anything to those numbers but they will not live forever. Some dynos seem to be more than forgiving as well...

Interesting. Thanks for the info!

I’m surprised everyone is suggesting an S475 and not an S369sxe, just since it seems like it has been the hot thing lately. I’d say you may be best swapping your s362 for something else a little smaller if your towing really heavy.

Do you know how cheap you can pick up an S475 for though? I think that's why they're so popular. If you pick up a slight bit of power and spool out of an 369SXE forsignificantly more power, is it work it? Or maybe I'm just cheap and that's how my mind works.

Naw I definitely get where you’re coming from, I’ve actually been wondering basically the same thing. I’ve got an S475/83/1.1T6 here from my old twin set up, and have a 71mm compressor wheel and cover I could use. But have been basically wondering the same thing, would the sxe be worth the added cost? If you really want to save every penny you can you can buy an s464 169012 and then buy a take off 75mm compressor wheel and housing for $100 to swap onto it

yeah thats the conclusion I came to. Could add more power cheaply but getting more low end for towing requires a smaller secondary to start with.
power driven has a kit with a K27/S369SXE, looks really nice for towing.

Hmm I didn’t know that, ED put the 71mm wheel on mine a long time ago, mine started out as a s464 but I didn’t remember them mentioning any machine work being done.

They definitely machined it. The exducer of the 64mm compressor is significantly smaller.
