Loving this 63.

you dont need a ton to run a 63 or whatever, my buddy ran a stock pump with no plate and stock gsk and he spooled a 62/65 just fine

Kinda old, but I just saw this. I was doing that with a 64/80 set up with the convertor locked.

Wow, this is very impressive given I can't get my 64 as a single to mimic that. Ofcourse I have a looser t4 .91 71mm hot side likely than you did but with a 480 slowing it down.......?

When I could actually get them to seal up correctly, they spooled really incredible, the problem is I couldnt keep themm sealed. My top was a super b special.

I have one as well and have about 2000 miles on it and its been pushing 58lbs of boost so far. I will be calling E.D. again for an upgrade when the time comes for me to bump up the torque.

well i dont have many posts in the forum, but i have been kickin around here for quite some time. There is a thread over on cf right now that i am involved in that is asking the difference between and ED and a box bw as far as performance. Now i know that ED does billet wheels and race covers and they look pretty, but is the performance worth the extra $$ you shell out over a BW? they use the same design on their wheels right?

i run a box stock 63/68 with an ED cut .85 non gated T3 housing for it...... hit about 54psi with my foot to the floor, but my egts tach out too on the heavy end of 5th....

How do you like the 63/68/14? I was curious as to how it spools with the 14cm housing. I have a D-Tech 62/68/12 big improvement over stock, but gets hot on top, but spools like stock. I am really close to moving to a 63 and have been debating the 14 or 12 thing for awhile.

14 is gonna spool a hair slower, but give you some more breathing room on the top end. Its a trade off to what you actually use your truck for.

Mine keeps EGT's under control very well, even with the 5x.016s. Almost clears them up too. It was almost 2k, can't remember actual price.

If I stay with 5x12s then the 12cm housing is best, but if I step up to 5x14s then the 14cm would be a better choice. Is this a fair statement?

it wont help that way as much as you think

the bigger housing will just make it not choke out as much in the higher rpm's
