Neighbors #$@&*S :(

I think you should walk around in full camo and start asking your neighbors to check their sector because you've heard reports that the perimeter is being probed at night.

They just don't understand what it takes to get her in the driveway :)

I see 3 SUV's a small truck and a car that doesn't get much for MPG. Not a single "hybrid". They would be calling the kettle black if they called on you. Just drive it :)

Operator: 911 whats your emergency
Neighbor: there is a suspicious vehicle outside my house and a lot of activity around it... what should I do? I feel as Im going to be in danger!
Operator: ma'am stay on the phone we'll send a unit right away
Neighbor's Husband: Quit staring at them out the window, they might make eye contact with you!

:hehe::hehe:

I live on the edge of town. The street that runs next to my house has no houses on the other side. The fire department likes to block the street and train their engineers (Spray tons water). They usually have it blocked off for about 2 hours once or twice a month. The grandson and I use to go out there and watch them. It was amazing what some people would do...try to run over the hoses...sit and wait expecting the firemen to move...yelling at them..etc!

During the sled pulling season I try to load the trailer on a Friday night after everybody gets home from work and in there driveways. This way I don't have to do it in a rush before heading out early on Saturday morning. My truck and trailer are approx 6' longer then the property along the front of the house so it encroaches on the neighbor’s property line, which really isn’t private property it’s the damn street. I have woken up to see the neighbors literally 1” away from my front and rear bumpers I have managed to get out on some occasions ands in others I am knocking on doors at 0700 on a Saturday morning. And its not like it parked there for a long time 99 percent of the time it’s less then 12 hours 2000-0700.

Living in the suburbs like that, I don't think I'd be able to sleep at night knowing that much money is sitting out there all by it's lonesome. I'd be afraid some punk @$$ kids with nothing better to do would.....well, you know.

x2!

But I bet 80% of the kids that would take a look at it wouldnt have a clue what it is used for:bang

Scott, I feel your pain I have came home from pulls late at night and went to my house instead of to the shop to park the truck and trailer.I live on a small dead end street with no turnaround at the end. I have been given a ticket for blocking my own driveway. Some days if I know we are getting up early to go out again I will park it in the church parking lot about 2 blocks away.

Do you pay or get those tickets dismissed? that's funny :)

i know what you mean. my neighbors think we are running a used dodge truck lot with 5 trucks out front. parking is a pain

Actually the next day I was on my way out of town with the truck and trailer and I see this cop trailing me. I no more then get on the expressway and on come the lights. I figure that I am going to be getting another ticket. The cop comes up to my window and asks where we are headed. I tell him over to the fair and he asks for last nights ticked, takes it and said don't worry about it and the neighbor that called me in was an a$$. Best experience with a cop I have ever had.

I live on a quite street and don't get to much hassel when trucks get droped of at the house, but the one problem is the city bus hauls down my street and has all most hit me and garret a couple of times while loading the trucks. I think the neighbors are happy when people are parked on the street slows the buses down. You have to get some vids driveing down your street, if you get some ticket i would almost bet we would all pitch in cause the vid would be priceless

What the hell are you doing trying to live in a neighborhood like that...with a pulling truck?

Neighbors make my skin crawl.

Thats why I love the country! During the day you will only see 2-3 cars in an hour... But I'd kill to see that rig parked on my road, thats one bad truck:bow:

Sofore all the neighbors around me have been fairlly quit not much gripping. I have been there for 30 yrs only a couple of them have been around during my Minirod days and drag racing day's with open headers.now it only one old lady that lives next door say's we are trying to kill her with the smoke no one say's anything about parking only the cops about the 32ft inclosed the law states only 72hr parking if the trailer is over 6ft tall and it is over that.Truck and trailer is 49'6"When we aren't usingit we rent a spot from the city for 10.00 o month can't beat that.

Im very fortunite to live on a 200 acre farm! Park the truck and trailer anywhere i want. Hell the neighbors (not real close) have been treated to me hooking the pullin truck to our 1206 IH and my dad on the tractor riding the breaks as the puller screems for mercy! lol

I wish I lived on a farm we would have our own track and build another sled for play only.but I live in the middle of town.
