Neighbors #$@&*S :(

I live in a crowded Baltimore, suburb...it sucks. I am lucky to have a small grass lot next to the house, we don't own it but we take care of it, maintain it, and use it. I was testing the truck after some mods getting ready for a pull the next morning, well after 2 4wd launches at 4k rpms, one of the stuck up "better than thou" neighbors who live in the waterfront homes across the street comes over giving me **** saying I filled his house with smoke. Well anyone who has seen my videos knows my truck don't smoke.

Even my mother told him to buzz off and go home LOL

My Cousin is across the road, so as long as it's not after 9:30PM when his kids are in bed, anything goes. Now down at the shop, there are no neighbors...but for some reason there are customers going and coming at all hours!

Oh, DARN!!!

So far the neightbors are a big fan of my truck. Always coming over with friends and showing it to them like they have never seen anything like that before. They may not like it so much once I get a motor in it!!!

Maybe you should have spent some of you money on moving expenses!

I am active duty military and have to live with in a certain distance to the base The base is located in one of most expensive counties in the country Marin, CA. We get a Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) and that is used to cover mortgage payments, rent, etc…If you go above that allowance it comes out of your pocket. I moved here from a condo 4 years ago so it’s an improvement but I certainly can’t afford a lot of property in CA and in this county with my BAH rate.

i am glad i live out of town but all my neighbors are family and they never complain they just give me crap on what am i working on next

It's got to be tough running that pulling truck with an Uncle Sam paycheck!

Talk about a hassle to move. I just moved from Idaho to Alaska about a month ago. I just have a small shop of stuff... couple toolboxes, solvent tank, welder, air compressor etc and it was kinda iffy getting all that packed by the movers.

Really got the "your not the norm" attitude though the whole process. Guess most people might have a small 3 drawer toolbox and that's about it.

BAH went up here in 09' a huge amount, were talking $70! I hear you on the rent/payments Scott, to have a house in Cali is one thing, to buy one making our money is another.

Yeah, I'm happier than a pig in sh!t here in NC because they upped BAH and BAS. Between all of it and our 3.9% across the board it brings me just a little over $200 after taxes which still leaves out of pocket for the house by about $20. Probably be our last raise though so enjoy it.

About the same here in $'s, I've got one more for sure when I go over 18. I've been in my house for 11 years now so the BAH passed the escrow amount, even on a 15 year note.

I really can't imagine living in a neighborhood with a pulling truck, or a 30' snowmobile trailer...

Speaking of trailers, I have to pay to store it in the next town over $65.00 a month was the cheapest I could find.

$65/month isn't bad. especially for something that big. Around here it's about $100/moth for just a 20foot car hauler. The main reason I never brought my jeep back from MI.
