New Hood Pics

alot of research actually went into the hood, alot more than jsut for looks,

first we had help from a designer that worked on a porsche race team and devloped there body work, the lip under the vents (which by the way are directly from a acr viper) were designed to cause suction to remove the air after it has entered thru the main scoop, we also did alot of testing with the cowl area, bringing it back towards the windshield to keep the air flowing over the top of the truck as not to impead top end power,
about two years worth of development went into the hood, its stable at speed, drops under hood temps on gas engines about 20 degrees, and is built very very heavy duty, not a hood developed for ricers , but serious power houses, started out because I needed to relive some heat from the twin turbos on my personal viper truck.

carefull.... your 'cumalong' will start beating up on your srt if you hang around here to long :rockwoot:

got my hood delivered yesterday- cant wait to put it on

i like it except the overhang on the back over the wind shield wiper cowl.
