Well as I've seen a lot of associations post their rules for next year it got me wondering the question i thought someone asked last year. Whats everyone looking forward to or think is going to happen next year? Whether it be certain trucks or the growth or decreasing in an entire association?

I wondered the same, can people afford to go truck pullin this coming year? The growing lose of jobs in the U.S. ???

Yeah and with the class of 2.6 maybe guys have a chance at stayin in the game with that? I thought i seen DHRA switched back to allowing a bushing for the 2.8? I know for us in Indiana theres a TON of just brush pulls. So whats gonna happen with those? Lots of routes that could happen.

Seems like there's alot of people working on something this winter so I'd Imagine it's gonna be about the same next year. Seems like some more 3.0 trucks are being built around here. The 2.6 class is pretty much turning into a dedicated puller class.

2.6 class is going to be pretty big. And yes, I dont think there are many classes for the everyday driver out there being that you have to have at least 7-800hp to compete in the 2.6 class. But its going to be interesting.

I remember saying that the high gas prices were going to kill pulling, now we have another Demon to compete with this year!

Might have to be some 2.4 classes for the daily driver's.

What about the 6.4's with their twin turbo setups anyone seeing the rules change fo them. I know local pulls not sanctioned by anything they made them run exhibition.

Most classes let them run in the Work Stock class. Might have to get rid of the stock turbo class and make something smaller. Gonna really start discouraging some guys to go since they can't compete but who knows. There's always gonna be someone there that wants to pull just for the fun of it.

I think we should have some national rules. So we can run across the untied states or whatever. Ohio don't care about Dual CP3's I think should be across the nation. Say if people I going through a state and theres a pull but can only pull exhibition.

I agree with the smaller class. I know for gassers theres a cubic inch rule used. I dont know what the equivalent would be but I know for me it seems if you make a 2.5, 2.6, and 3.0 you get a good spectrum but who knows. Seems like somthin has to get decided for everyone to follow for a workstock class. Not a lot of people care about that class but you need a lower level class to get people in the door of the game and rules established for those who dont really want to go to a bigger class.

Looking forward to pulling with NADM and Show-Me Smokers. Depending on finances will depend on how much I travel for other organizations.

I thought it was always for the fun of it

It is always for the fun ot it! But would you want to be the guy that everybody puts 50+ feet on??? Didnt think so!

hell ill pull exhibition. the 6.4s got some advantages in the 2.6 but its got some disadvantages too I mean its a ford huh right?

Ragged edge waht are you talking about????????? I was talking about the average guy that has a few mods done to his truck and wants to pull at his local fair! If there pullin in the 2.6 class they dont really have a chance in competing anymore! I was saying there maybe needs to be a smaller class! Like a 2.4 or something! OK! I am not talking about me!

it seems to change every year when i first started pulling last year 500hp would do pretty good in the 2.6 class so going into this year i was around 550 as the budget would allow and low and behold 650 seemed to be the norm at the top of the heap and now i suspect it'll take every bit of 750+ hp to stay on top of the 2.6 class this coming season and i know my wallet cant handle that, lol it started as just for fun but when everyone has a dedicated 2.6 truck and before you hook your pretty sure your pulling for 4th or 5th it kinda takes the fun out of it ya know. i will still pull as i am hooked now and i love it just glad i have an understanding wife!

This isn't Tory on here it's Tyrel I barley get on here anymore. I can tell you though theres alot of trucks out there that will and have put 50ft on me before. Next year the 2.6 class isn't gonna be for the average guy. It wasn't this year really but that's all the fun in competing. There's always gonna be someone with bigger and better. I bet theres gonna be some 2.6 trucks that would give some 3.0 trucks a challenge.
