Now this is BADAZZ!

I think that picture is Double Overtime - mod class pulling truck. There is a another p-pumped Powerstroke out there that runs in the Super Street class (3" single charger class) but the owner's name and truck name are eluding me at the moment.

Mitch I think the truck pictured is that 3.0 truck that we saw at TS. It was parked over by Rod Tarr's truck's

That pic was taken at TS. It is not double overtime.

But is a powerstroke with a V8 P-Pump. Very nice machine work, lots of custom fab.

He means how would you get rid of a HEUI Injector in a 7.3 head and use a nozzle? Weld something in maybe? A lot of machine work for sure.

At that point, money is not an object;) Machine the heads, make "adapter bodies," etc. Sledpullers have been "making due" for a long time!

Ye you need lots of time and money for sure! I figured you would need to machine some adapters and I would guess you need to figure out the correct angle and depth of the nozzle.

Their going both ways with powerstrokes now, inline mech pumps & commonrail.

Looks like Billy finally finished the truck
Heres a pic from last year:

I would also like to know why I see 8 injector lines but only 6 intake runners, or am I missing something (I usually am.....)

prolly just using 6 runners down to a shared intake plenum and didnt have room to add 2 more. thats what it looks like to me.

Yea the 7.3 doesn't have an intake with the separate runners, it uses plenums on each head, kinda similar in a way to what people do with cummins heads some times.

Is that "Stroked out" ?

You are correct! Billy Zimmer from central Illinois. It's been a long road for this truck, hope it runs as good as it looks now. There were several changes made this winter that proved to be in the right direction after the hook at TS. This setup is everchanging but is getting closer to being a competitor. His next hook will be in Mexico, Mo. on June 7th.

So here is a good question. Are all the mechanical pump parts being produced by machine shops or are they one off parts made only for separate set-ups that you can't find?
