Even with the New Wolfe Racecraft Mustang Chassis coming along for this winter, and the current Mustang’s being up for sale. The Nitrous Express Duramax Powered Mustang is getting a few needed updates.
First on the list was the Intake manifold. Greg at ZZ custom Fabrication whipped up this work of art , here are pictures of final fitment between the Industrial Injection 72 mm phatshaft turbo and the manifold .
The industrial Injection CP3 pump was also ungraded as well.
This year the Mustang will have to go head to head with gassers, in small block power adder, so a low nine or high eight second average will be needed. The cam was upgraded as well, to the newest MaxSpool Dmax Pro Grind.
This cam will be .550 lift , and a few more degrees of duration as well. The MaxSpool springs will handle this with ease. With over 15,000 miles, 80 + 6000rpm quarter mile blast, and many land speed runs , the springs had lost no more than 1% of their seat pressure.
We will all hate to see this car go to a new owner , but its far better than letting the drive train move to the new chassis , and losing this car back to the gas world
if anyone would like to own this car , give Mike a call.
