NX Duramax Mustang gets New ZZ manifold , just in time for Hot Rod Drag Week 2010

Mike is on the road with the NX Dmax Powered Mustang , heading to drag week. No trailer queen here , he is driving it 1000 miles to drag week, then the 1500 mile event , and back home again .
We are close to leaving in the morning , with the Syndiesel Beetle .

I'm ready to be back at the track.


as far as John's rant , who cares , Now if he wants to write me a big check for the dragster....

Kind of a rough day. Had to replace the rear tires at the track and replace a wheel stud. Drove 60 miles to buy the stuff to fix the stud. First pass he lift pump issues. Fixed that and ran another pass with just minutes to spare. Spun hard but went 10.0 @ 148.8.

I am going to try reprogramming the 2 step to if that helps.

We had a great drive from Columbus to Indy!
 
Be nice to see some vids. Like to see some more of your tunning in action. It Did you get the email back JohnBoy

Update!

9.44@144.45 Bogged off the line but hooked and hauled ass! *nx*
 
Latest video is up from 1320, Mike says 35mpg including the drag racing :lolly:
 
"one side of the engine has a steel head and the other is aluminum, i also cook my burito's on the manifold.........grandma dont know what we did to her car yet".......:hehe::hehe::hehe:
 
I always check the aluminum side, but I think we're making more power on that side. Actually i know we're making more power on that side, cuz i broke the axle on that side.
 
Wed's coverage is up too...there's even a cameo apperance by diesel sled puller Troy Wakeman ;)
