Ohio Pull Need Pullers!!!!!!!!!!

It was a good time and glad I went up even though my pull was less that spectacular..... My biggest advice is to get a set of rules from an organization and stick to them and some sort of schedule that makes sense. I know I was not the only person that expected to be pretty far back home by the time we actually pulled. Glad it was a good turnout across the board for you guys.

Here is the video for the Finale of the "Drivetrain Breakage Tour of 2008" - I'm pretty sure its the output shaft on the tranny that gave up its ghost....

Chris I agree with hotrodtractor. That was the worst run pull i have ever been to. The organization was terrible from start to finish. We were told to be there by 1pm for weigh in and the sled wasn't even there yet. Finally leaving at 2am was a long day. Also there were no rules that were stuck to and no one there to enforce them. It is supposed to be a memorial pull and you have a$$holes that like to run a modified truck in the street stock class and then get all defensive when they are disqualified for it. I think that next year all of us local guys that pull pick-ups and such should get together and form a committee to organize and run this event because as far as i am concerned the remains of what used to be the geauga truck pullers club are sorry excuses for the support of such a meaningful event. There were more than enough people that with the knowledge and now how of such events that were willing to help and lend a hand but were turned down because of stubborn arrogant people that think they know it all. That event could have went alot smoother and been over alot sooner with alot less headaches if everyone would have been allowed to work together. As for next year i hope it goes better and that we can get together to make it a better experience for everyone.

Do you have any more video of the open class?

Congrats, You had an awesome hook.

It was too bad Powermax and Overfueled had problems, I was looking forward to seeing them go head to head.

Matt did you find out what happened to your truck? Seemed like everyone that started on that right side had drivetrain problems? Tim good hook by the way, it looked fast!:woohoo:

Sorry, myself and my camera man were working on getting my broken truck and junk rounded up to leave. I didn't get home till 4:30 this morning......

I walked in the door at 6:05am!!!!

I have the top five from the open class

1-Tim Jackson 281 (02freightrain)
2-Matt Weingart 271 (PowermaxExpress)
3-Dan Debenedictiours 270
4-Steve Nikkel 267 (Full Spool)
5-Bill Debenedictiours 266

Sorry if I spelled any of the names wrong, the annoucer was being difficult. I agree it was a good turn out but I think getting there at 1pm and not pulling until 12am :bang

Wow...kinda glad I kept workin' on the house! I actually got work done (for once).

Sorry I missed ya Steve....I'm sure I'll bug ya some time this winter.

With as many trucks as they had on short notice if it grows any next year it could be a problem. They need to consider making it a two day event or run the tractors early and use two sleds side by side for all the trucks.

Long Day, But still a really great time. Little rough in the mod class but truck took me home.

yes kevin. this was brought up a number of times and they are disscusing a better way to handdle to ammout of people for next year . no one really knew how many trucks we were going to have. but that is still not an excuss. i was the un hooker at the end of the track and would prefer to do all the trucks at once then tractors then what ever. i brought it up to all the officals in charge that there needs to be a set of rules for next year.
but thank you for all your support and making this a great weekend:thankyou2:

:rockwoot: congrats, Tim . Sorry I couldn't be there, hopefully someone got a video of it .
