Oil Filter Relocation L

I have a dual remote filter on my truck. If I remember right, I got the kit from either Jegs or Summit. Just checked their sites and don't see it listed anymore. Il see if I can get a pic of it.

I use the Amsoil dual bypass kit...filters are on the frame under the pass side floorboard on frame,do the Amsoil kit before the twins and be happy.

I can say this about the Destroked kit. I was one of the first to get this kit. And I am not talking about retail purchase but one of the first ones period. Before Scott even had written instructions for the kit. The issues listed above read like the laundry list Scott went over for possible issues due to a incorrect installation. Poor or fluctuating oil pressure due to not installing the shims in the oil pressure regulator properly. And the cross contamination issue from using the incorrect gasket between the oil filter relocation housing and the oil cooler (Big clue is the gasket not lining up properly. Do you really think that a company with the machining ability of Destroked can not gasket match a oil housing?).

I can honestly say my set up has been flawless so far in the 2+ years I have had it installed.

i have the same one. have you installed it yet. been wondering if it has clearance issues with the a/c compressor on the 3rd gen applications.

on mine i am going to get a filter head for a lf9009 fleetguard filter, it has a bypass filter built into the canister.
