out of options

hey hurley, how does your light up? can you make a few psi around 1500?

i need a 215 pump expert to let me know what my rack should be doing, it wont touch the shut off plate, and it wont push any further forward by a screwdriver

i know i dont have a barrel stuck becuase it starts, idles and drives fine except for no fuel

the govenor arm does not fully un shroud from under the opening either....

it does move freely, but does not go all the way forward, and you cant push the rack any further forward with a screwdriver

honestly, if the AFC arm was stuck, it wouldn't surprise me if the rack is sticking or something.

with your injectors and pump settings, you should be blacking out the sun. If you're not? Something is up with the injection pump IMO

so does anybody know if the rack arm should go all the way forward and contact the fuel stop on a 215 pump?

Its not a sticking rack. If it were the rack would have stuck wide open and blew the motor.

i just wanted to make sure it is going all the way open, if not i wont be gettin the max fuel i can....

Is the turbo new or used, did you check for boost leaks, check fuel pressure. What position is the shutoff solenoid lever in while watching for rack travel?

If the governor is not spinning don't expect the rack to move as it does when it is running. I have had some pumps that would move all the way forward and some that would not while not on holding the shut off pin in the run position. I would look over your shutoff and throttle linkage very thoroughly. Sometimes those problems are harder to trace then you would think.
