out of options

I vote it's the .88 housing coupled with the 63 and you've been driving twins. Bet your 62 was divided and this 63 is undivided, makes some difference.

it seems like you have your afc spring is way to tight or the afc isn't moving for whatever reason..
it did sit for 4 months

i took it off and freed it up

then i loosened the spring just to make some smoke so i could tell if i was getting fuel

i have to make a boost leak tester tomorrow

im going to feel real dumb if it is a boost leak somewhere, but i tightened everything down again

the problem i see is that the 1/4 pipe plug you left out made it go from 10 to 20 psi so it doesnt seem like it still a leak unless it was connected to the afc.. it seems like its not getting fuel for some reason.. pull the afc spring out and see if i gets full fuel then.

Seems to me, you have a leak in the boost signal line that run to the afc,, or a fuel pressure problem

lol, dude it just took me like 30 seconds to type that reply, i got mesmerized by your sig lmao

Tell me about it. Some times the G/F pokes me in the side cuz I will get hypnotized staring at the screen lol

What position is the afc housing in?

That .88 housing is a pig. My buddy's vp truck wouldnt make 10psi till almost 2k rpms with that charger and plenty of fuel.

I think you will see that the afc will need some changes to work well with that single compared to your twins. Need to tighten up the spring and add some more preboost probably.

If the truck sat for 4 months, what does the fuel in the tank look like? Algae problem?

You probably need to investigate/tear into the lift pump/filter system and check out the fuel in there.

Kinda a shot in the wind but what about too much oil pressure causeing turbo shaft to slow down? I think it was ball bearing turbos run into that do to the unto needed volume of oil.

No afc foot and still no train of smoke, it will get 40 psi if I wind her out now, but I should be able to hit 40 at 2000rpm. Checking fuel pressure now

If i remember right the vp truck would get to 10psi and kind of hang there, then peg 40+. I dont think your going to make 40psi before 2k though.

Well vp44's are gay, that's why I have a 12v

And I should be making 10 before 2000, then a quick ramp above 2k

Does your setup still have the fuel strainer? Sounds like you may have fuel pressure and no fuel flow. I see that on a lot of trucks that set for awhile. It's worth a try anyway, Gary

skip to about half way through the vid

if you notice the fuel shut off stop on the far left of the pump is in the on position.....his rack moves all the way forward and the little round pin touches the stop.......my rack only moves about half way and does no contact the fuel shut off stop....

why would my rack not move all the way forward? gov spring issue?

I would say that the rack not moving all the way to the stop would definitely be an issue, that is probably your fueling issue, but I'm not sure if the GSK would affect that... somebody chime in! I have this same turbo on my dresser waiting to go on, and this thread is scaring me... :charger: Only my .88 housing is divided.

THe .88 housing is not as bad as everyone lets on.. and it's definitely undivided as a stock Airwerks provision.
