P-Pump Mystery To Me........

For some odd reason I just have this burning sensation in me to ask this question cause I cannot figure it out.......

I was at a pull earlier in the year in Hillard, OH to be exact I was standing near the start line checking out trach conditions and watching the trucks go down the dirt path. This 12V pulled up to the line 5 speed nothing out of the ordinary I just saw he had a huge 5" monster tach on the dash so I said cool I will see what he leaves at just to be nosey. He backs up hooks to the sled still nothing suspicious he begins to bring the rpms up and right off the bat something was not right. Their was this slight lope as the R's kept increasing u would of sworn it had an AG Gov. this lope was violent just like a Mod truck on the line it got worse and worse as the R's went up litteraly shaking the truck. He left the line at 5200 in this range this was with a foot operated pedal no hand throttle and at idle it was smooth. I am just curious what this would be or??????????? But as I said foot throttle, was smooth as silk at idle?

For some reason he dont like me and I think it is funny and he refuses to reaveal his name or truck and he thinks I am some punk kid that knows nothing. Sounds good to me LOL.

Brandon, I guess you should be more humble around a pulling god.
 
I did answer it. It is a non benched 180 pump with lightend gov weights and on the verge of outa control gov spring settings almost like the peice of pipe in place of the springs.

Terry said a guy called him about a pump and said that he was the guy who won the ts street class. I assumed that was you.

But it was a 13mm pump.....are u sayin that it is a 13mm based off of a 180 frame?

I thought it he said it was still a 12mm pump. I know he still has the pump because he is going to put it on another motor.
