I dont know who Ragged edge is, but i think he has dealt with Terry before too. I just figured you guys might actually know each other and were being funny or truly have beef with each other.

Like I said I dont know him he just seems to creep in on a serious conversation and treat me like an idiot so if that is how it is ok I could care less.

10-4 It dont make any difference to me. Are you going with a 24v head then? What are you going to run for valve train?

X2 Ive yet to see any pics or vids of Ragged Edges truck. Just a few smart @$$ comments.
 
Ragged Edge Alpaca Ranch

well i did some research on this ragged edge person and here is what i came up with:

His real name in Raggedy Anne. Turns out his father was the guy who invented the Raggedy Anne doll. These dolls were such a huge hit, that his father actaully decided to name his son after one. When the father past away, Raggedy Anne decided to take over the family business. Well, to make a long story short, Ragged Edge, i mean Raggedy Anne, doesnt know his @ss from a hole in the wall and wound up running the company into the ground.

After a sorry attempt at the doll business, Raggedy Anne decided go after his real dream. 2 years later, Raggedy Anne bred his first alpaca.

From these two alpacas came the birth of the smallest alpaca farm in the nation: Ragged Edge Alpaca Ranch

maybe i missed it, but i am just wondering what the advantages are to doing this? what gov springs would you use? is it just for the awesome sound effects or is there a real advantage? sorry for dumb questions, dan

From my understanding it just comes in when the governor assembly in the pump is lightened up so they can rev to the moon.

This is what I gather also unlimited RPM's and stuck plungers.

ok. i have no idea about the ag gov and so i am trying to figure it out myself. i have an II 12mm now with a 5gsk but i hav only gotten the truck to go to 4600 +/- a few r's. what do i need to change to get up to say the 6k range?

Maybe go a couple clicks tighter on the gov. spring if you think it will handle it. For 5,000+ though I think youll need to have some work done to the governor assembly.
