Congratulations Dale it was a long time coming but it sounds like it was definitely worth the time and trouble! It's probably better that you were the one find the issue, who else but you to know your machine.

Bud didn't want to go to the top of the hill his belly was in the snow drift between the patio and steps that go to top section of the yard to pee.he is a Doberman. just going to set around and stay warm.maybe turn the heat on in the garage and piddle on the truck just to stay moving.
Definitely cold around here, I fought gelled fuel for three hours this morning, finally got to work and everything is leaking and broke down. I'm fixed now but waiting on hydraulic oil. O well all part of the fun I guess!
Finally finished the inner fenders. It was definitely a pain trying to keep the motor clean with out them.Hopefully will also make the motor noise quieter. Also got the front sealed up behind the grille so the air don't go around the inner cooler and radiator.
I used earlier 80's Chevrolet inner fenders cut them down and used a beed roller to put some strength back in them.will post pic.tomorrow.
I had a 4x8 sheet of stainless setting in the upstairs of the garage that I got for the (GAMBLER) got it for scrap price 4yrs ago.Soo to cold to run to the metal suply yard used what I had.Mad some mudflaps and a rock gaurd for the fuel tank the rear tires was throwing rocks on the side puting dimples in the polished aluminum.
Finnally got around to making the innerfront fenders they stay bolted to the frame.Only 2 bolts to remove them if I have to.Used 80s chevy pickup inner fenders.Had to trime them down to fit the ford splash gaurds. Finally broke out the HF Beadroller.Don"t have room on the floor of the garage best place to put it used square tubing and slid it in my B&W 5th wheel recever. The fender seal with splash gaurds when the clip is down.
And finally blocked the gaps on each side of the radiator. Will help with cooling and letting the motor temp stay warmer in this freezinng weather.
I finished the flaps and wrapped the fuel tank with stainless it was just pitted way tomuch for me from the rear tires throwing rocks and it covered the crease in the side of it.And started to polish the stainless steel rub rails on the bed. Also got the front flaps on finnally.haven't had to buy anything just using what's been laying around for years. My son is bringing me a sheet of Luan plywood soo I can make the back half of the headliner and put the rest of the sound deadener and insulation.
