I wonder if you could ceramic coat the seats so they don't see as much heat?

That would be a mistake - you want the seats to be able to conduct as much heat as possible out of the valves while they're closed.

Ahhh yeah.....I'm just trying to think of a way to keep them cooler. I may still get in touch with you about ceramic-ing the head. I was just going to throw it back together so I could have it rady for Ennis but now I think I'm just going to go for broke at TS. :Cheer:

Best way to protect the seats from excessive temps is to coat the valve heads.
