While I may not totally agree with the rules I understand the promoters point.

Street will be a combined class up to a 2.8 turbo.

stock turbo will be 8k 26" hitch
2.6 will be 8k 24" hitch
2.8 will be 7800 22" hitch

These rules are open for change. They want to see how it works out. These rules will put more trucks and money in the class. If you break it down the fairs will not pull every class so you get less hooks.

Johnboy your in! The wheelbase will be any factory length no alterations.

Pro Street remains the same. Unlimited singe or twins.

Power Pulling Productions part of Power Pulling League. Lucas Oil Pulling Series

Cooper wanted pro street to be 3.0 but he wasn't there to fight for it.

umm ya need to shift the weights up across the board a little, 7800 is damn near imposible to make for alot. I dont even think i can get to that. 8000 is doable

Travis

No way will it go over 8k, that everyone agreed to. It's also no hanging weight.

No hanging? Who are the guys that voted for these rules?

I like how they are handicapping the bigger chargers, cant wait to see how it turns out, but no hanging weights is bad.

No hanging weight is a PPP rule to allow local trucks to pull without looking out of place. There wasn't much of a vote. It was a compromise so everyone could get more hooks.

Sounds like a good place for guys with street trucks to play. Not pulling trucks

Travis

This a division of PPL, Tom,they set their own rules for non-sanctioned pulls.

Like I keep telling you- the 3.0 is for Illinois and Indiana-its a non class everywhere else. Basically, too big for Street trucks, and no-one else wants to go backwards.

It is not going backwards; it is a class that does not take a 60k truck to compete in and a 3" motor will last several seasons. My 3" truck competed with the twin boys fine (4th in indy ,2nd in racine) I do not see it as backwards. we have 13 very compeitive trucks in IL I would say that is moving forwards from the unlimited single days when we had 4or 5

I am fine with no hanging and the hitch height.

I assume No bushings?

3" turbos not Streetable. Geez! Guess I will have to drive it down to Sleddy's and straighten out his mail box post.:evil

That's right John no bushing. I took care of that just for you.
