Pro Street 1/2 Ton Suspension Conversion

UM yea.....

I had to order a special tig torch to allow me access to weld some certin areas on this one. So it will be in end of this week.

Next thing....

The 5 inch 11 gauge pipe is very hard to find locally. I can get a 20' stick for a very high price but it will take a month to get. I am seeing if my sheet metal guy can roll me a section.

I think the final cost on this one is going to be eleventy hundred dollars :blahblah1:

Ill get it done it is just a hard one. :evil

Ill be headed to SDX on Thursday.

I think i have some 5" OD x .120 wall tubing, how much do you need?

About 30 inches. Where did you get it from?

i got it at a shop i used to work at, used it to do my buddys exhaust on his cummins wheelin truck, let me see what i have left.

i also have some 4.5" OD x .120 wall stainless, stuff is awesomely light for what it is, but gets spendy

Today we channeled the body down on the frame 6 inches to get the cab lower to the ground. We will build back the floor with sheet steel cut, fitted and welded.

Where are you from. The local guy said he could not do it our of 11 gauge.
PM me a price on doing one, otherwise I may have to fab a collector.

You don't like our P/S truck? :evil

no i do im just wondering whats going on with that 96 prostreet with 233k miles on it, and how that one is doing, will it be done for this season. coming up on 1yr pretty soon. once the tranny went in my truck is when i considered the start of my build but i doubt i'll finish my truck by the 1yr mark, but still i made pretty good progress. i think i'll be fliting with low 12's high 11's if i ever get a fuel system on this thirsty sob i drive everyday/everywhere.
