Here are the videos. Almost had to keep the test hook. The truck died at the end and would not start. The track official didn't unhook the kill switch. Who'da thunk it? Plenty of bounce in the first two hooks. Figured it out for the pull off.

Here's the end result of a DMax cracking a piston. The fireball was huge at half track.

Nice looking hooks man. Definitely a good running truck. Whats the scoop on the Dmax?? Whos was it and do you have any ideas on his mods??

Looks real good Kevin. "Smoooooooooooooooth!":rockwoot:

Extreme occurance of LLY overheat.:banghead:

Bad deal. But it could have been much worse!

He is member here.

Congrats kevin on the pulls.
I am saddened by the catastrophic failure of that particular Dmax.....Damn it.

Thanks BB. I didn't change anything for the pull off but my right foot. Keep it pinned to the floor as soon as the clutch starts to grab and alls good.

I'll let him fill in the rest on the DMax. I was converting the vids and said what the heck. They did fire the truck back up later. All indications were a cracked piston. I will say he had the winning truck there that night. Tough competitor, hope to see him back.

Congrats on your pull Kevin. That was some B.S. how the truck was burning at half track & one of the crew members were seriously walking past me saying "we have a fire extinguisher". Keep us posted on what sled will be there in October. See you at Waynesburg.

Initial thoughts were a busted piston ..... spreading some light on a busted charger at the moment, won't know until I dive in under the hood.

I just checked the charger, shaft is still in it, damnit!!! Gonna have to tear it out and inspect the bottom end now I guess. It was fun while it lasted though!

Congrats to all the pullers there especially my wife for taking first in the "stock turbo" Class by 14' with her DMax!!!

Keep your head up Adam, My spare engine dosent care where it lives as long as it's home has a bowtie on the front!!!

That sucks. I would have bet on a turbo failure. Did you check the oil filter for pieces?

Adam when you started it back up it looked like a steam engine chugging out the oil cap. I didn't pay enough attention to see if it had a miss. I thought piston when I noticed the oil cap was MIA.

Yeah, I'll sell it or fix it if it doesn't sell. I can't afford at this time to go full bore with a Dmax. Some things in my life need addressed and a year without truck payments would be a great help too. Don't worry I'm a competitor with a strong desire to win, some don't realize that with how quiet I usually am at the events. I will be back, I plan on being in the pits working with some of the locals and hopefully getting some of the local rules up to snuff too. When I come back I'll strive to be the man to beat again, it's just going to take time and right now isn't that time. The plan is bigger and badder in 09 with a dedicated pulling truck ;)

Sorry to hear that Adam. 1 thing for sure.....you had the baddest truck at the event. When you started the pull...I thought you were gonna haul that sled home with you. I'd sure hate to see you sell it.

Your wife did really well. I was very impressed with that pull....didn't expect it to launch like it did.
