pullers check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you overpowering an Iron Gaint??????

They have been behind truck with 2x the power of yours and hold up fine (not bashing, just stating)

And that flywheel doesnt look anything like any south bend unit.....

i understand what ur sayin i was just pointed in the direction of a triple i guess cause of the gear and cause i use it on the street
that flywheel is a sbc the inlay is not i had to have a new inlay cause mine was wore to far

After it's been rebuilt by someone else...it's no longer a South Bend.
If I have an ATS trans rebuilt by NAPD...it's then an NADP trans...ya follow my line of thinking ?

If you had shown pics beore the rebuild....I wouldn't had changed a thing but to call it a SBC part afer the rebuild is misleading.

i know what u are sayin i was not intendin on bashin sbc i was mearly showin i had a dual disc and was upgradin to a triple since no one would post any pics of any triples on here, a year ago i ran a stock clutch so it was a big improvement and i was proud of it and wanted to share to see what yalls thoughts were.

Hes gonna put 4kgsk, bump the timing and tune the truck some, it fuels too hard on bottom end. Im hoping to sell one of my toyotas so I can start a full on motor build. I got a block sitting in my shop

I have 2 blocks in your shop, you have none:kick:

that will be good more fuel is always better be sure take some pics if ya do a motor build up u gonna do a roller cam like joshs truck?

Im not sure what kind of motor build im gonna do, I like the idea of a roller cam though. Id say ill have a long conversation with Mark about it Saturday

Lynnville TN 38472. Sept 11th and 12th

I made 800hp at the first of the yea pushin mid 70psi done some more tweakin now higher 80 almost 90psi. I pull 5th gear. When I would come off the line I am off the clutch the dd would not lockup till around 75ft mark this triple locks up as soon as I am of the pedal

what rpm do you carry down the track? and what is your weight?

any more vids of you pulling? I'm from PA BTW so i don't think we'll trek to TN to pull. Thanks for the invite tho..

the only other video i have is when i ran the tnt-r and it would not hardy make 50psi i will get some of our lynnville pull if i get a chance sometimes dont have time to do anything when u put ur own pull own well i dont blame u i wouldnt drive that far either but some people have came from maine and we was really shocked they heard about our pull but they was antique pullers though

i dont if he's overpowering it, i dont remember i think he said he was close to 800 hp, or a combination of hp and running a really big of gear for a dual disc to stay up,it would also depend on how long you had to ride it out of the hole. also we run our floater plates from .010-.020 tolerence lug to flywheel, to tight it hangs and too loose it's really loud. I run a triple disc in my truck and i dont have near that much power, but even a 4 low pull with .355 it doesnt even seem to phase it as to where the dual disc would be hard to get in and out of gear and the end of the track, the triple acted like it didnt even phase it. JMO

I misunderstood his question. We had a South Bend that was machined improperly and bottomed out on the front, not the sides. In other words, the front disk was loose with the clutch fully engauged.

oh maybe i misunderstood, our dual disc have around .250 in the fllywheel beneath the floater in the lug slot with the flywheel disc installed, becasue if it wears it will move further foward. but i cant speak for my competition.

Yall are thinking right. The floaters were to tight in the flywheel. Once the clutch got hot, it was not wanting to release at the far end of the track. None of them were machined alike. We had on floater that had .002 at 12:00, .012 at 3:00, .005 at 6:00, and .011 at 9:00, then the second floater had a little more here and there but none were over .015. I just did not understand why they could not give us an answer on what it should be. This **** ain't rocket science. So we did the ole garage mechanic hope we were right kind of thing and gave them all .020. I would rather hear it rattle, than be locked together at the end of the track. Besides that, it doesn't get drove much anymore. Thanks for the reassurance that we were in the right thinking.:Cheer:
