I'm a nobody!

I'm cool with that. Sorry to everyone who thinks this(me rant) is wrong. It just gets old hearing about how great his truck is. It is a very good running truck! But to say there is nothing in it's realm, I would disagree. There is many good running trucks. Most people see all the time, some they see very little. I guess when he said I was STUPID for getting a turbo from Braydan, And how I was going to blow my motor up and then seeing him blow off all the time it just gets old. Anyone who tries things that are different will have issues form time to time. Tazman has aswell so why cut on someone else? I have had no problems with what Braydan did for me. Everything works like he said it would. Not sure why Tazman talks down on others. Sorry for the rant everyone! I'd like to think i could get along with anyone. Sorry Jeff

I thought this was a money thread. So has he spent more money on his truck than Tony has in his?

Depends if you include the lights.:poke:

I guess I would be one of those guy's who JUST GET IT DONE! I don't need 100K to be at YOUR LEVEL! Watch what you wish for. Remember I have one of Fleece "JUNK" chargers on my truck so what are you worried about?

Since you brought it up...I would be more worried about parts flying off your truck and hitting mine!!:kick:

Like I said ...bring it to a pull and lets see how well it does. So far...I've seen nothing from your mechanic that impresses me. If you want to drag race...wait till I have a break in pulling this year and that will not be a issue. Since you are wanting to drag race...I'm assuming you have a standard cab truck and you think the weight advantage will off set the power difference?

Drag Racing

No, not really on the weight. Mine is a Std. Cab and yes it hurts me pulling but I wanted that look. It was had to find by the way. I have run in the 11's at 6800 lbs. My truck is not stripped. I drive it. I normaly drive it to the pulls with a trailer in tow with the weights on it. I didn't want to scratch the bed. I'm not sure why all the hate for Brayden comes from you but for what I have seen he has no turbo breakage(yet i'm sure when pushed hard it may just like yours did).I may make the Eaton pull but not sure yet. I just hate to put a hole in the bed for a stack. Jeff

Jeff, you can run flex from the stock outlet up toward the cab and then toward the rear, will take a long piece of flex and a brace but can be done.

tazman and brayden have a wonderful history. he likes to talk.

OR :D
Sting.... You could have a fancy chromoly rig made that will take your rear exit exhaust and go up the tailgate and into the bed and up into the smoketube.

I actually know a shop that will build this for you. It's been done. But it was on an extended cab not a standard cab. And that one was blue.. and yours is white.. The metallurgy may not be the same between the two trucks. Could have a catastrophic failure in the truck because of it. Then you may have to sell the truck, the farm, spend the kids' college fund, send the daughter out whoring to make ends meet, it could be a very bad thing. But if you think you want to pursue it see below...

It's http://www.jbracecraft.com/

... They won't build any more of them though without 50% down. The first one they built left them feeling a little "blue" :kick:

To build things right takes a lot of time and money but that one wasn't to bad. I don't suppose you would know anything about building it right!:blahblah1:

Most of us do R & D which doesn't mean Rob and Duplicate like it does to you Brayden. :owned:

You send these guys to make statements on your behalf and it never works out. You should worry more about giving Parsons back his money for his engine( what's it been a year now) or getting Moore his tranny instead of copying other peoples products and calling them your own. I think you have not followed through on stuff more than the Flaxx guy I use to hear about.

I love compD :D

Jonny's engine is at Met's machine.. moron.. That's a buddy deal between Chase & Jonny. It would be a year in september. Jonny bought Chase's motor and didn't realize what he was biting off building a motor. Everything he wanted is done. It takes time to "BUY" parts and build a motor vs the other way around ;) We've known him for years anyways.. you think you know him?

Moore's deal is another thing Chase is working on.. He can chime in. I don't think he's disatisfied one bit.

Regardless you dragging this way off topic, I was just answering questions that people had asked about being able to pull indoors without a stack.

First off...it is my truck and we are negotiating with a few people right now who want to buy it. The truck is completly new from engine, transmission, rear ends, all powdercoating. That price unfortunatly is substantially less than what is in it. The motor would cost $40,000 (with fuel system) to build complete and the truck would bring 35-38K$ in stock form so everything else is free. I think there is over $2000 in plasma coating on the exhaust housings and other parts. After a full run on the dyno, you can touch the insulation on the firewall and it isn't even warm. We dynoed it this weekend and it is very impressive but the track time is needed to fine tune it. This isn't a hacked up stick welded truck! Everything is built and designed to last, and still be a dailey driver if needed. I know it's alot of money but trust me...it's cheap compared to what is actually in it.

As far as a mod truck, we have a list and to do everything right with a tube chassis and billet cylinder heads, paint, complete body is going to take between 150-200K. That is using a Barker chassis. It will take between 50-70K to do the engine and make it live. I have all the bugs worked out of the LMM and I would like to build a new truck but I can't afford 2 of them at this point.

How do you get 40K for the motor? Here is a list of parts and retail prices:

Rods 2700
Heads 4700
Forged Pistons 2700
Cam 995
Machine Work 2500
Dual cp3's 2800
Turbo 4000
Pushrods, studs, other Items 3000

that adds up to: $23,395 about 17k short
I am not bashing I am just asking. Are you counting building it multiple times after hurting it?

Yeah and there's also a big difference between retail and FREEtail

LOL LOL :owned:
