Pulling tires

Yes, I like it because theres lots of smoke. Reason for that thoug was the 6 boost leaks we found. That ended up being the reason I was always falling off the charger. Next hook I did in Platte City I blew a boot and broke an axle so that ended our year.
 
here in ohio, most guys run sts. id love a set, they are just to proud of them. i have a set of 1/2 worn mud country's i am going to try. should hook good when aired down!

Glad you found all the boost leaks did you try the Injectors.
and get the front axle tighten up.

No we never got to try the injectors but they are in there now. You were right about the front axle the u bolts were very loose.
 
How would mt baja claws on the front and bfgs on the back do? I also seen discover st on front and bfgs on the back do well.
 
baja claws on missouri tracks seem to suck, or well dig to much. Dane ran cut claws on his old truck a few times and just didn't work. He could actually pull a higher gear then when he had the STS since they didn't hook as well. Everytime he ran the claws I beat him by 5ft but he put the STS's back on and we were close or he'd beat me.
 
I was wonderig that. I have mt atz and dont do bad. Thinking about going to bfg at ko's this summer since i dd this truck.
 
How does tire width play a factor? I see some running 12.5 and some up to 15.5 and is that all four corners or different widths up front versus back?

It makes a big differance if they are a/t or muds. I run both. The a/ts start to sag in the front at 30. The muds are more like 18 before they do. The sidewalls seem stiffer on the muds even tho they are both load D tires. I run 25 in the a/ts and 12 in the muds.
 
are you running dual tires also? i was gonna run 25 up front and 40 in the rear. they are BFG AT's
