Quadzilla Adrenaline questions

I am thinking about buying a quadzilla adrenaline for my 01. What are the positives and negative about it? And let me hear about your experinces with the adrenaline.
 
No problems. Only smiles. Also, it's on sale everywhere really cheap until christmas. Get the pulse with it for sure.

It makes more power and has more features than any other box out there for the VP trucks.
 
With the pulse there are many perameters you can set, easy to install, and many different tunes available. You can feel the power, and smoother power than my tst smarty stack.
 
what is the pulse? is it just the digital monitor that goes in the cab? just put one on my firends truck yesterday.
 
Yes thats what it is. However, it also allows you to adjust timing, fueling, pulse width, and more from my understanding. I don't have the Pulse, but it sounds pretty awesome to me!
 
It will work fine.....If you don't have guages get them...unless you buy the pulse with it (which I recommend)! I don't see a fuel system in your sig either....you better think about that as well cause the ADR will kill that injection pump!
 
Either just the adrenaline or adrenalin/pulse have gauges. The pulse has more control over defueling settings and you see all of your gauges at once, with just the adrenaline you only see one gauge at a time. Niether come with a fuel pressure sensor anymore though.

I can't tow with mine. It surges terrible under load. I have tried the new tunes that are supposed to cure it. I am going back to a power puck/FMS stack - It was alot smoother.
 
mine still surges too, but I'll put up with it for the power. As for towing, I've pulled grain trailers with it on pl08 with minimal egt's
 
i raced a 99 5-speed with adrenaline, he had 35's to my 33's,

he ran a 16.19 quarter, i ran a 16.20 with my edge drag comp, and automatic.

i was impressed with that adrenaline to say the least.

stock injectors tho

i see u have Edge in ur signature. Keep it! i did the adr for a while and went back to the Drag Comp. smoother, more power and seems to hit harder in the 2500-2900-rpm range. thats my experience.

I would be happy if I could run PL01, but mine surges on that level too. I have put 10,000 towing miles on mine since September running mostly
PL00.
 
get the quad... adr.. make sure they throw a fp kit in with it.....i run my quad on 2 all the time. no surge... 26mpg.. on 3 and up.. it goes down... fast.. still no surge tho...so i leave mine on 2.. and all the power i need.... and thats custome tune..
 
26 mpg...eh?? I don't have that bad of a surge...but really what do you expect runnin it on a comp file at high power levels with it on kill mode...

to answer your question though it is a very good chip and has a ton of great features, it's also nice cause it can evolve with you as you add more mods to the truck. also it's really the only user adjustable custom tuning unit for the 2nd gen.

I'm calling BS on that one. I have owned a Comp, Juice, Hot Juice, and Adrenaline. Adrenaline makes a honest 40 hp more than the Edge products did on my truck.

i dont give a rats azz what u call. the guy asked for peoples experience with it, positive or negative and thats what i gave him. now how my truck runs compared to ur truck with different chips? i wouldnt have a clue since i dont know you or ur truck. and if ur truly interested in my dyno runs with both chips, pm me and i will give u a shop # to call.
