Race Truck build...

My rods came today!!!! very excired.. and ordered some other stuff...too... then I started on the suspension taking things off I dont need and cutting some things I dont need.. took measurements for the control arms I'm making... and soem other things...

been following the build and wow, your doing an amazing job!!! wish my build was at the pace yours is going!! this might be a dumb question, but as far as gauges go, what are you gonna be monitoring? and where are you gonna put them?
 
I have a PCS data logger.. which is a screen the size of a Double Din radio.. and going in the same place the radio was.. I"m making a custom mount for it and it has a can bus adapter so I can monitor everything thru that.. plus I'm adding 2 boost sensors and 8 egt probes..

If you get Nira's can bus messages and get them to PCS, you could display and log engine data.
 
Well today My BFF Cody helped me do the suspension.. came out nice.. did some cutting via plasma cutter and got rid of a bunch of stuff no longer needed... made the gf use simple green and clean under the entire truck!! hahahahaha.. gunna have to loose the mag hytec front diff cover... it wont clear the trac bar when the motor is in.. took measurements for the shocks.. and all the steering components..gunna make some trick stuff..lighter and stronger.. and more ergonomic for the lowered height..I will post a better stance pic tomorrow when the truck isn't on the rack and can get better angles..!!!

Might I add with bottle of simple green and performing the task.... LOL

This way I can use it for leverage on the wife. (Though likely to just yield me a "dream on" comment.)

thanks.. its done by Mountain High Performance here in Denver specialize in diesels.. and they have bin doing the machine work for ATS for over 10 years.. I told Pat (the machinist) do it like it was your own and then 10 times better!!! hahahahaha:lolly:
