Forgive me for asking but strictly for learning. I know the process involving dual feed lines.
But explain how capping the rail helps I mean what do you do to actually cap the rail?
I'll start with dual feed. It is worth ZERO. I had my truck strapped down on the dyno and did a b-4 and after and it was ZERO net affect. It makes a great straw however for your cokes.
Rail cap,... the way to go. If you have a accurate rail gauge on your rail you will see 2k increase in rail pressure. That's about what a VA C3.1 or Edge EZ will do for you. Also you can't blow an RV valve as it takes it's place. IMO, don't go throw some bolt in there from a hardware store and spend a few $$$'s for a nice unit that doesn't leak. FloorIt has a sweet one,.. last time I heard it was about $55.
like others have said, the dual feed line is worthless.
Not only is it worthless, but they can fail and leave you stranded. I blew up two of them before I finally just capped the rail with one of Floor-it's caps.
EVERYONE I HAVE SAW WAS BURSTED WAS A GRAY LINE THE NEW ONES ARE BLUE AND BIGGER AND THICKER
Sorry for the dumb question. But were is the rail cap? How do you cap it?
Why, that what I did, it cost me a whole dollar and works fine.
