Ran a new best today!

Devon,
Congrats!!!

Do you have the time slip from the pass in the video? Just curious to see the split times and differences between the 2wd and your 4x4. You had a little more MPH but slightly slower ET, wonder if both of your trucks had similar 60' times but perhaps the 2wd pulled harder mid-track and then laid over a little on the topend due to RPM defueling on the common rail.

In short, if you have it, please post up the time slip.

Congrats you had a number of nice runs in Edmonton. Looks like you are just a good 60' away from a 9 sec pass.

Wow, they had you by 3-1/2 MPH at the 1/8th mile and your backhalf consumed that lead and then some, you gained 4.2 more MPH than your opponent. It's clear that the lowered 2wd is more aerodynamic so either your massive turbo setup is more efficient on the topend, or their CR is defueling a little.

Either way, close race, great win, and I hope you see 9's at Ponci's event!!!

Difference at the various split times:

60' - .112
330' - .231 = -.119 (2wd pulls much harder 60-330')
1/8 - .296 = -.065 (2wd still pulls harder but not much)
1000' - .173 = +.123 (4x4 pull much harder 660-1000')
1/4 - .143 = +.03 (Nearly even, probably due to poor aerodynamics on 4x4 negating the extra horsepower you make on the back-half plus moderate defueling of common rail in the 2wd)

If u watch close armor blew his side window out half track causing late shifting in to OD.
He ran 9.5 later that day and a 9.17 early this year.

That must have been a fun race! Door to door the whole way! I think their 9.17 was a rear-wheel start.

I am pretty sure the 9.17 was a clean pass from what I saw.
They had a slow reaction time, spooling turbos and they ran down bully dog who ran a 9.4 I think
