Guys that pull with auto trans and have upwards of 1000 ponies could you give me some recipes for my 97 12V? I can run Compounds of 2.8 atmophere and 2.5 High Pressure. I have to have a Stock appering govenor on the p7100, Cant use cement, No Nitrous, No LPG and no Water injection.
Thanks in advance.

Well I figure 1000 might be tough but id like to get as close as I can

These kind of posts are getting more and more annoying by the day...like you can just Google "1000 hp 12v" and a recipe should pop up

How about, you do your own research and post up what you think will make 1000 hp, and then let people critique it if they want to.

X2^^^^^^ Try a pocket book with about 25-30K in would be a good start

Im sorry, i asked for guys setups that are actually working and wanted to compare the different setups. Im sorry I didnt think about Google. I thought thats what these sites are for but i guess i was wrong. I wont bother you guys again.

I want to ask a question Rockin. How much power do you have now? What is your current setup? If you want stock appearance I think you will be hindered at 650 or so. BUT from the sound of it, you are wanting everyone to share there wonderful combinations for 850+hp without double spending. Great idea, but I want to know what level you are at now.

I hope you know that the Google comment was a joke!

These sites....? THIS site is competition, thinking outside of the box, coming up with new parts/combos, etc., etc. Because of this you are not going to get someone to open up abut their "perfect recipe for 1000hp in a 12v". There are parts out there that will help you get there. It just takes $$$$.

Twins with a 2.8 primary are towing twins. For a goal of 1000hp in a 12v you are probably not going to get drivability. If it is a puller only use a single that is set up for your rpm range.

There is a lot of info on here, but you are going to have to do your research before people are going to spoon feed it to you.

#1) Deep pockets. #2) Call scheids, haisley, woodruff, and cds. Ask their opinions, and take all that and base your setup off that. Asking questions like that here usually will lead ya to a dead end. Most have no clue, don't wanna take the time or think their setups are secrect.

Also, no matter how many people on here tell you their setup (not saying they will) you will never duplicate it perfectly enough to get the exact same results.

1) 13mm P-Pump
2) S-480
3) billet cam
4) ported head
5) custom intake
This would be a good start.

Thank you, I was wondering if a Big single would work with an Auto or i would have to stay with compounds. I guess I didnt word my OP right and freaked everyone out cause its all a big secret.

I wouldnt say its a big secret but everybody that knows/has anything has paid their dues and for you to just ask for their setup so you dont have to gets old. To many people just want to jump into this stuff and be a winner without any work involved

Can the atmosphere charger be bushed? If so I would stay with twins with an automatic.

Just an FYI fella's, Rocky's 97 12V runs damn good already and is making every bit of 700hp right now and he's real good at tuning and stuff. We just have a lot more trouble than some of you guys cause we have to make power at 5500ft.

It's not about it being secret, it's about coming to the table showing that you've already done some homework and put some thought and effort toward it. I'll help someone who is really trying hard and having issues, but it borders on insulting when someone wants your hard-earned knowldge for nothing.

Your question might as well have been phrased "please gimme a recipe to make 1000hp so I can come to the track and beat you with it." That kinda crap don't fly.

There is a TON of info in the dyno forum and in the Dodge Competition forums where you can read about what others have already offered up for the good of the community. Start there.

And talk to some vendors since they could use the business.

Its ok Jeremy, its Typical of most diesel people these days. I can and will do it on my own so you guys that think your setup is so Badd and such a secret then just keep it under your hat, Its no biggie.
