Redline, Adrenaline, Smarty...guess what I'm thinking.

I recently bought a Redline box & am going to try stacking it on my truck. My bright idea was to stack it with the Adrenaline so that I can control the fuel/timing scale through custom tuning. What settings should work best on the redline? How does the box work? I haven't done my homework on it yet. Should I try adding Smarty to the mix? Maybe I'm going crazy, but I'm thinking they should all work well together. :D

Dear god, that could get nasty. And not in the good nasty way.....

Not sure how your stack will work, as I only have experience with the smarty, but, to state the obvious, only run one for timing.

Are you just going to run the redline for pulling? Its supposed to throw codes, etc.

Why 3?

I am hoping it plays well with the Adr, I'm gonna play with the stack. I only plan on sled pulling with the Redline though, unless it is too much fun.

I know guys have ran the smarty with the redline and had good results. I don't know a whole lot about the adr, but most guys seem to run either that or the redline to hit 4k which you probably already know. Would be interested in hearing how it works.

I've heard the Smarty works great & alot of guys say the Edge works great. Edge only pulls to 3400 on my truck. I've pulled well over 4k with the Adrenaline. I figure that since the Adrenaline pulls over 4k, should be a killer stack.

my drag comp/smarty stack pulls to 3600 easy, the redline should be here next week, so keep us posted on the results.

All of the custom tuning comes into play above pl02 and you can only have one wire tap at a time. So basically you can have tricked out CanBus tuning and 4k rpms.

Yeah, but timing control, boost scaling should be adjustable without a wire tap, right.

Yes, but the boost scaling isn't going to do much because it won't control the redline's fueling. It will only affect CAN fueling I believe.

I keep forgetting about the redline taking over the ecm.:bang I guess you are correct, but I figure the Adrenaline should work well considering it is way stronger than my old Drag comp & guys say the drag is a good stack. I can't wait till my truck gets home to try this redline out.

You guys think I'll benefit from running all 3?

I guess it would come down to how much overlap there is between the adr and the smarty. Not to change the subject, but are you running the revo software for the smarty yet?

Yep, Smarty Revo. The Adrenaline/Smarty stack is absolutely disgusting! I'm loving this stack, just keep hearing the redline praise & figured I'd check it out. I don't know why, but I just can't stay away from the power bug.

Yeah I was in your shoes ... got a smarty first then stacked that with a tst powermax 3. Then it was time for a clutch...

The only way I can see that combo helping is

Smarty for low low end fueling, speed limiter, code reader,
ADR for higher end Can Bus Fueling, probably not going to help much after 2200ish rpms either way
Redling for the RPMS and WireTap Fueling.

I've been down a long road. Start to finish.

1. Hypertech programmer.
2. Banks Big Hoss [3 different boxes, didn't think they were working]
3. Edge ez, then comp
4. Edge comp/Superchips stack
5. 100hp JL injectors
6. Dragon flow 10 holes
7. 64/65/14
8. 64/65/12
9. Dragon flies
10. 62/65/14
11. 62/65/12
12. 62/71/14
13. Drag comp/Smarty
14. Luk pro gold
15. Another Luk
16. SB DD 3250

I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting, but you get the idea. Now my truck is in the shop for DD3600#, Redline & M5's. :bangI should have bought lottery tickets.:hehe:

Yeah, I figured somehing like that. How would I hook that mess up? :hehe: I think I'm getting too crazy.

I've been running the 3600 from south bend for about 5 months now..hooked twice with it and it has performed well. Takes a week or so to get your leg used to the upgraded hydraulics though.

I havent hooked a redline up before, but I think it would be the same sequence as hooking up a EZ/TST. Then you just download the desired smarty settings.
