Redline and TST

I have a Redline, a Drag Comp, and an Adrenaline. Guess what I am racing with this weekend...(hint:It's not in beta)

but it makes more power then the redline and drag comp right? :hehe:

do you keep the drag comp and redline hooked up at the same time?

I race with the redline box stacked with the drag comp (redline has the pump tap). Is that what you mean?

Can you give a comparison between the 3? I don't know anyone local who has the Redline, just going off of what I've been told. I have the latest Adrenaline box with the updated hardware installed. It is smoother than my Drag, but feels just as strong as my Smarty/Drag. What rpm does the Adrenaline fall off compared to the Redline? I've heard 3700, 3500, 3800, but don't have springs to do my own testing.

well i want to have it installed with my TST, can both wire taps be hooked up at once, so when the redline is on, the TST is off, and vice versa

can you even turn the redline off? or is it on all the time just turn the power down.

Harsh man, Harsh! Don't pick on me nowLOL If you get a stealth cover & hook a wire on it with a spade terminal where you could unplug/plug the 2 boxes, then for the track you could plug the Redline in & unplug it for the street.

I think the Redline also uses the map sensor, doesn't it?

YOu can run the redline and the comp at the same time. Put a double throw switch in to change the pump wire. Also plug the redline in first tot he map sensor, and then plug the comp into the redline, then the truck into the comp. Redline will shut off. I would probably just get rid of your TST though. With 250HP injectors and like a lower setting on the redline, then you should be good to go.

Have you asked TST if they could get you some more rpms? Mine's still building power when it defuels at 3400 rpms.

i love my redline/ ez stack and yes you can turn off the redline, im actualy looking to sell it so i can get the truck runing again (darn head gasket). im asking the average for these chips if any one is interested pm me. the newer turn that i jsut got from chip makes it drive pretty well on the street, before it was a jerky mofo and you could tell the redline was tryign to take over, also the redline does not need the map sensor you jsut have to hold the first and last button when you start it to make it bypass the map sensor test and your good to go.

You want a tst comp lost?? What do you have to do to get your truck straight?

well i poped the head and we found 5 cracks in the head 2 goingto colling pasages so i decided ti was time for a fully ported and polished head, cam, and some new valve springs.... soo i kinda need to recover some of that cost, and im thinking aobut selling the redline but its kinda a hard decision on that part, but im waiting for the head then the orings and valve springs go in woot woot

you couldnt pay me to run the quad box,

Hmmm...
They "claim" it makes more power than most anything out there. However while at our Fall Brawl show last fall we had a member run one the first day then switch to his TST Comp for the second day.The TST box spanked the Quad box both on drugs and #2 and when you look at the chart the Quad was slow to make power when compared to the TST Comp.

Before you ask,the truck I mention above had enough fuel to power a bunch of others and had enough charger to handle the job........Andy

The early Adrenaline programming tried to bring fuel/timing in so aggressively that he was pulling the pumps dry. A guy over on DTR dynoed the TST & Adrenaline & got better numbers with the quad. It is still in beta testing & getting better every program. I think the numbers will change this year once he gets the timing/fueling situations corrected.$.02

How much better were the numbers? Even if its 30-40 peak hp...its not what i want

Not much, but it was the standard production tuning. I think he has figured out a missing piece of the puzzle today. He is adding timing so hard/fast that he was getting a surge at 1800rpm with big injector trucks. He is gonna make a no timing tune & see if that helps, then go from there. I think he needs to start aggressive timing after 2000rpm & this box will be gold.

TJ, I saw a redline in the classifieds on TDR for $900....just letting you know.
