Well thats stinks, I talked to Haisley's on Wed. and they said curt had not ever started on building his motor. I have all the respect in the world for them to even build the motor, install the motor and then drive to TS all in 2 days.:clap:

I talked to Patty and she said that they had all been up for 3 days working on it. After all that the whole family was watching the pull till the last truck went down the track. Now thats dedication that we as a pulling community need more of.

They are great people I was out to there shop Tuesday to pick up some parts and they have been running on no sleep all week from what Patty told me at TS hats off to the Haisley's crew we do need more people like this in the truck pulling world.
 
curts water came on, just not enough, van said that it wasnt locked up but it wasnt happy either. more than likely burnt the pistons, he kinda laughed and said "thats what happens when you dont dyno"

as far as ben miller, i talked to tommy t a week or two ago and he was trying to get it done but evidently he didnt get that far.

what happened to eric stacey? didnt get the body done or have some other things apart?
 
Wow, the pulls went on to 3:30 AM?! Crazy!

for some reason, kent put a gear box on the steering, not too sure why, and from what he said at the end of the track i don think he is either. all other trucks as far as i knoe use hydralic motors (charlyn valves) and cylinders.
 
Double overtime is still working on his motor! Heard that the scheid truck is running 3 chargers!
 
Dang that truck is one mean SOB, I was thinking it was about to split the block open on that pull.......new sound.

is the new scheid truck a common rail or a 12v. sorry if this is a dumb question, but i didnt get to go to TS so i dont know. i have just heard different stories

Its a mechanical 24v, but ain't your run of the mill pump:hehe:

my guess is 12v, but yeah three chargers is what the rumor was down there. they are pretty quiet about things under the hood. but you have to be, especially in that class.
 
Who's the guy that had the white dually duramax that full pulled every time ?
I'm a cummins man, but that things sounded awesome. I would love to know how many R's it was turning. I swear it 8k++
 
I looked at Kent's new truck when it came off the hauler. 3 big chargers in a 2 stage setup, 12cylinder injection pump, 12v head, cast block, water intercooler.
