Shane kicked butt! curt dropped his first pull and then could not come back due to engine problem (water never came on)
Cory,I was not at TS but Im sure your team was a class act like always.I think all the mod trucks in fact all classes are stepping up in the past few years and this year looks like it has a great start. All consistant pullers are willing to do what it takes to get it done.My hats off to all you guys!

Who's the guy that had the white dually duramax that full pulled every time ?
I'm a cummins man, but that things sounded awesome. I would love to know how many R's it was turning. I swear it 8k++

That is Troy Wakeman's dually (Smokin Diesel's shop in Missouri). It sounds mean and was likely on the rev limiter the whole time (sounded like a lot of trucks were given the track conditions)

Robert Miller owns Terry Martin's old truck, now its called "Let It Roll 2".

what happened to eric stacey? didnt get the body done or have some other things apart?

Josh and Eric worked 74 hours straight to try and get Eric's truck done. Unfortunately they called the game at 6am saturday. Sure would have liked to have seen the new setup but all in good time. Congrats to Shane, looks like the old/new turbos are working great for ya. Of course I got to say congrats to Cory, smiled as that truck went down the track but Josh said I had a right to. It was a heartbreaker to see Scott not get off the line. The Water was coming on to earlier and it didn't seem to want to adjust.

what happened to scott vorhees in the mod class?

Well here is the deal, when I split the block I concentrated solely on the new motor build and didn’t consider the possibility of any collateral damage. With that being said I believe my larger turbo has serious issues that were caused when the block split. I suppose it’s very possible if you look at the video of when the block let go it was pretty severe and at 150 psi it just shut down hard. So I am thinking the impact plus no oil going to it may have caused some serious issues, possibly a bent shaft, the wheel is now hitting the housing and there is a but load of end play. This wasn’t noticeable until brought up to higher rpm’s and when the clutch was just starting to grab basically I think it was starving for air. At first we thought all we had was some minor clutch adjustment issues which were fixed at the track. I then asked for a test hook and they said sure after the 2.8 and 2.6 class so 6 hours later we test hooked at 5:30 am and that is when we started hearing the turbo wheel scrapping the side of the housing and new we had turbo issues. A lot of folks thought we had the water coming on to soon but it hasn’t been adjusted at all and the adjustments have been locked down for the past few years. We loaded the truck up around 6:00 with the morning sunrise.

Scott I am glad you got things figured out. I am sorry that it took so long and you had to make that long of a trip only to find out that you could not pull. Your niece came over near us to film your pull and we were telling her how awesome it was that you made the trip for all of us East coast pullers to see you.

I was just happy to get to see your truck in person and let me say..WOW..that thing is awesome. I can only hope that I will get to see it pull one day in person. Can't wait to see it up and running 100% again :bow:

Scott, It was great to see you again and I am sorry that the run didnt work out well. Best of luck getting the bugs out and hope to see you running and whipping ass soon!
