s467 or s472?

anyone out there running a s467 or s472 single on a 5.9? if so are you daily driving it? just curious how spooling a big single will be on 5.9 and still tow alittle.
 
I'm running one and use it as a daily and have no problems. Ain't towed anything heavy with it though
 
I ran a billet E.D 71/87/.90 with dual cp3's, 250hp sticks, efi live yada yada yada. BDP19 has his setup in his sig and we run basically the same times even though he had about 30hp on me and i was slightly heavier. however, my fastest time was a 7.36@98.8mph. It wasn't too laggy but when it comes to lag... everyone has a different opinion. IMHO I would go with the s467 or jump up to an s475. I wouldn't bother with anything in between. $.02
 
why do say go up to a s475 vs. a s472? I guess the spool close to the same but what more would you get out of it? and what ar ratio and exhaust housing you guys running.

I'm running a .90 housing and from what i've heard a S472 flows about the same as a S468
 
ahh I gotcha, thanks for the input! just trying to get a happy medium and still keep those injectors cool

For up to 800hp go 467..over 800 go 475. Go 83 turbine with a .90 housing.

My 75/83/.9 is a breeze to drive with 100% overs, duals CP3's...but no way would I try to tow 10k with it...Id be comfortable up to 5-7k.

Going from a cast 68/83/.90 to a 72/83/.90 i lost 4mph. Its not a scientific result, but thats the experience i had.
 
I went from a S366 to billet 72, same ET/MPH...

Went from billet 72 to cast 75, gained 7mph. Likewise it's not scientific but a result no less.

I also only gained an average of 1 tenth and 3 mph from an s366 and single pump to s471 and duals.
