San Antonio TX Dyno Day

or should i say if you have the tunning turned up. Now if you just keep what ever tunning you have turned down and then turn it up you will gain more but from just adjusting the upper levels for more hp there is not a whole hell of a lot of room.

im running a silver bullet. and what i mean by ''tuning'' is i am using the smarty revo, and i had the timing too high...

It's always fun to hear people complain about there dyno numbers after there done. all the hype before, then when d day comes "it's not running right" or "it's turned down" :blahblah1:

it sounds good loping like it does, i was honestly expecting more out of urs than 605, i figured ud beat me, what all do u do with it pull, dyno, drag race though it would b hard since its a 5 speed

Mine is running like crap also with a HRVP and i only made 590.45hp and i am sure if i could get all the kinks worked out it would be up around 630 to 650hp with a HRVP. But ill settle for the 590hp for now until i can figure out what is wrong with the damn thing.

thanks.. i was really hoping for more, but like all dynos, they tend to humble you, lol! right now i mainly dyno it, i used to pull a lot of trailers with a friend of mine. but im thinking of makin it a sled puller now cuz the dang thing is wayy to heavy to drag race..

With the "tuning" of the truck I've heard ppl say they actually loose power with turning up the electronics to high. I was told first hand by the owner of a monster running a comp box and an ARD. I got rid of my smarty because of all the freakin tuning options. I couldnt get the truck to wake up on the low end. I can hear those fuel knocks in the video Weasel.

You still dont have that mother figured out Trimble? WTF???

hell no i still havent. I just tuned it down to 500hp to Daily drive it of a little while. Those damn dual VPs are a ***** on the streat. :hehe: Sure wish someone would help me figure out how to get all the electronics figured out on them. I think the second VP is haveing fueling problems. I think the dual splitter plug i built must have a short in it. But it was hell trying to figure out where i need to put the rotar valve in line on the 2nd pump. The 1st pump seemed to be overfueling the injectors causing the an adverse effect in the pump stretch which then cause the injectors to fire off at different times. Some how i need to figure out how i can time both pump exactly. I think thats where the sputter is comming in. the 2nd pump is actually fueling outside of the fueling of the 1st pump. been trying to figure it out for a while.:bang

Dont ask me why its sideways. Thats with my Intake Plenum* gasket broken making really low boost and kinda a nice cloud. Go to cumminsforum and in the Texas forum look for SA Dynoday Pics.

Man Im glad the turbo didn't let go, that guy with the "smoke deflector" would have been pulling turbine wheel out of his legs.
