Smarty/ EZ/ TST 49

External gate would be in order I would think with that tiny top charger.

May not make much more power with flux 3's, you about have those tapped out I would think.

I woudl start your tune at Smarty level 7 no timming no rail pressure and TST on 3/0 and work it from there, but I bet Erik has a good idea where to start.

Oh and do not run meth, water only if you want your pistons to stay healthy.

x2!

I have made 717 with Smarty 4/power puck/and TST 3/0 and 721 with Smarty 7/dr p box/ TST 0/0.

I have also ran the truck with just the TST on tt03 and it sucks. The gauges will go nuts with the TST but it doesn't feel nearly as strong as it does with the Smarty and TST.

My main advice would be use only STD program on TST and use only the HP adj, leave tq 0. I don't see the tst over 4 being a help though, probably only want to run it 4/0 or less.

I'm also dealing with low RP right now tho so take it FWIW.:Cheer:

What is done to your truck? I think I should at least break 700hp with my setup.

I am planning on Dual CP3's and Flux 4's pretty soon. Fighting some MPG problems. I am getting crappy MPG. Changed bodies yesterday and still same problem. Maybe internally a problem or something?

Well here goes....

Wicked Diesel
-Dragonslayer
-Eliminator at 17psi, boost ref not hooked up
-8x.010
-Wicked twisters Silver Bullet66/ S480 race cover

Hamilton Cams
-HD Pushrods
-Springs
-Big Stick
-P&P head
-O ring head .020 12v marine gasket

ZZ fab side entrance manifold

T&C wild rail

TST R49 AP

Smarty TNT

HTS trans

Nitrous Outlet nitrous(barely used and haven't set it up right yet)

Those numbers I stated earlier were fuel only because I haven't had the time to mess with the nitrous. I actually lost hp with the nitrous one of the times and have only gained 50hp at best with it so something is wrong but just haven't messed with it. I have dual cp3's, a dr p race tune box, and ext wastegate in the works so we will see. I'm hoping for 900+fuel.

I forgot to mention...the bad thing about this is that I ran the 11.9 on fuel only with stock head and single SB. Went back after headwork and twins and could only muster a 12.0. I think its due to the thicker hg and am also working on getting it fixed too.

Will you be coming to LCD? HUH bif sushi tug a war withh killa whale

edge ez adding static timing? come on / Have you ran this by the edge guys? Static timing yes on the 98-02 boxes.

Smartys dynamic timing is much better anyway you look ay\t it

I don't think the thicker gasket is the issue....You've got quite a bit more done to your truck than I do and my pistons are cut a full .100, so I'm Way more decompressed (was) than your .020 over gasket.....My 11.47 was very strong with that much decompression...

My new build will be as close to stock compression as it can be though...I'm trying to get rid of that horrible rattle and pick up some low end for street driving...

find the oldest one u can find the first couple of models fuel really aggressive mine is like 1208 serial # marco said it was a dinosaur but it still works

I have one for sale, look up in for sale section. My main problem is no adj timing with old box.

Not so much blaming compression, moreso the inj being pulled out of bowls. It seemed like it lost it's top end power, possibly cause higher rpm has max timing and spraying outside of bowl?? I don't know but it definately wasn't the same by far.

J.P was there this Sunday. You going to the Yuba City dyno November 8th? I am going to that Dyno Event for sure. So if you can make it, you have my truck to blow up LOL. I can come down to LCD if you figure out this 03-04 ecm load stuff. I know Marco is working hard trying to figure it out.

I think we might as well have a Sushi war. Want me to bring Adam/Erick/Reb/J.P?

Haven't seen the need for adjustable timin program yet nor that twins program tried one didn't seem to fuel as hard nor as good as my old box. It just throws more mil lights.

So I should run Timing on Smarty only and run the TST OFF? Just use the levels on TST and control timing and levels with Smarty?

I've been told to use smarty timing but haven't seen a noticeable difference in either yet. If I'm going to spray I use tst timing mostly for the fact if I'm on a dyno and I can make a fuel run then quickly pull the timing back for nitrous.

So, I take it that Smarty on 7 and TST 3X0 or 2X0 would work good with my setup?

So with the smarty the truck is only demanding 55ish% of it's full fueling capablity?
