So where are all the 2 wheel drives

duramaxin14, I did'nt want to be the one to tell you, but you do come off like an ass, in almost every post you make. I have looked at most of the video's you posted of your 2wd, and while the trucks you pull against run alright, they are NOT in the same league as trucks in other parts of the country, namely the midwest. The sooner you pull in the midwest against trucks you openly talk chit about, or figure out that there are trucks out there that would hand you, or any other 2wd there ass, the better off you will be. As far as the grudge matches you run your mouth about all the time, give it a rest, you need to have the cash to travel for a grudge match, and since you obviously don't, then shut your mouth.

:owned: gotta put up or shut up. And if you want to put up pulling it's gonna have to be in the midwest.

You're not alone (just seams like it sometimes). Bottom line, it's fun! Hang in there and they (other 2wds) will start to show-up wanting to pull.

Tom my truck was bulid for the class i run in. If i wanted to run a 2.8 charger class i would built my 2wd for that. I run top 3 in the class it was build in thats good enough for me. All im saying is all other trucks that run in my class i think i will do well with rather it be mid west east north or south

I was talking to a guy at work and he races for fun. I was telling him about my build and he mentioned a powerstroke pulling 2wd in the middle of IL and he was WHOOPING them. He said he loved it! This is coming from a guy who thinks diesel are noisy, smelly, and only good for semi's.

The problem is you thinking and not knowing how well you would do against competition in the midwest, everyone can have pride in there rig, but you go too far when it comes to grudge matches where you want somebody to drive all the way to FL so you don't have to travel. Listen, if you think you have a good running truck, show up to a national event and compete, if you do well, the respect will follow. But for christ sakes, shut the f*$k up about the 2wd's already.

Tom why should i have to do all the traveling. A truck is a truck no matter if its from africa or florida

Because badass pulling trucks reside somewhat north of FL. I would venture to say that the #1 truck in your area would not make top 10 in anywhere north of Alabama.

i take it that also implies for the said badass trucks on the west coast as well........

that they could not hold their own with a said badass truck from the midwest ???????

No body said you had to pull 2.8, theres plenty of 2.5 trucks that would put several feet on ya im sure. Im not trying to dis your ride but I just dont see it happening. Dont think everyone is just pickin on you either. You bring it all on yourself.

Josh i did not build my truck to pull 2.5 class like i stated before it does well in the class it is in. If im not mistaking 02freightrain truck went to a mid west pull or some pull north of alamba and come in 2nd or 3rd IIRC. I like to see these bad ass mid west trucks come down to florida where they can pull on sugar sand like us and see how far they get

That very thing has been said by left coast pullers on here. Tom is from Cali, and was the one to praise the Midwest trucks. He has a kick butt truck, and can back up what he says, but also can acknowledge other trucks that are good. Very standup IMO.

And to Duramaxin14, your arguments don't make sense. Josh was saying that a lower class truck would outdo you. We understand what class you're pulling in. But the location in the country does matter. 2.5 trucks from OH, KY and IN, to name a few, seem to be very strong runners. And the setups seem to be spot-on. I'm not running my mouth by any means, just observations from several pulls.

yes i know and i know tom as well..

but the way tim worded seams to say trucks like toms, steve philips, steve BBD and others that dont reside in the midwest.. cant hold their own...........................

in other words if you aint based out of the midwest you aint got ****.

that aint cool

I dont think thats what tim is saying. Everyone knows they have some strong running trucks out there too. But the majority of the nations strongest running trucks, are in the midwest.

I think this is the case, I don't think Tim was trying to put the west coast trucks down. But after rereading Tim's post, I can see that's how it came across.

I was referring to FL pulling trucks. Besides, CA is north of FL anyway.

Where in my post did I say Left Coast?????

Once again, I don't see where I said anything about trucks other than those that might be in the area of the person that the post was directed at, and that area is FL......which is not known for it's pulling trucks dominating at national events.

The first thing that you do when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging.

There is a guy around where I live that has built a fast dually. You know how he proved it? By going to events where the fast truck run and running against them. Not by demanding that they come to Tulsa where he is.

If you want to build a bad truck, and earn the respect that comes with the truck you have to go run with the big dogs, and prove what you have built. And if you are a puller, the big dogs are in the midwest, not Florida.

I'll give you credit for at least being able to pull at all. i watched a 6500lbs street legal 4x4 gas class run Saturday and about 10% of the trucks never budged the sled. Just sat there and spun 3 or 4 tires and never moved.
