some flow numbers off of the new head

Id try an 8.3 cam. Would be in a mechanics truck. 100 hp inj and a fuel plate for now. Turbos soon.

Might be able to make something happen soon. The 8.3l cams are waiting on me to get some final in engine measurements. Should have some samples by the first of the year.

dunno if it was mentioned and i just missed it, but are the flow numbers you have listed here with the factory casted intake plenum still in place or has it been removed?

Intake is on the side on all but the 290+ numbers.

I would leave the intake on the head and do nothing but deck the head .060" and do some valve work for street trucks.

I am out of the office for a few weeks so I don't have the numbers in front of me. If I recall correctly, depending on the valve angle, pocket shape, lift etc., the swirl will range from 1800 rpm to 3800 rpm in the .550-650" range.
