Sponsor needed for 33" Truxus STS's

You know I can't understand why some guys want to put down anyone that trys to better their self. Bringing in sponsors will help better the sport as a whole. Someone has to get it started!

its great to get sponsors, but you are going about it the wrong way. i'd like to have someone sponsor some part of my truck as well, but you dont go on a forum asking for a handout. you contact a few companies in private, tell them what you have and what you have done and work something out.

if you post up here that you want someone to sponsor your tires, well guess what 967 other guys are gonna be standing behind you holding their hand out too and most companies don't want beggars calling them each day.

congrats on your turbo sponsor, good luck with the tires and sorry if you thought i had a "problem" i just feel you should go about it another way.
 
Go about it another way? Is your way better? Every sponsor I have came from contacts met on a diesel forum. Does it hurt to ask? Or does everyone think I'm cutting in on their territory. Guys I'm not your enemy.
 
Can't you get your current sponsors to pull some strings for you.... they sell the product regularly, maybe you need to go to DPP and ask them to carry your message to TSL. If they stand up and say they are already behind you, maybe you can get tires all year?

Just a thought....

I too am in your boat just in the Canadian side of things and yes I do meet in person for sponsors as well as advertize on my site. I dont think you are begging....... I think you have a idea and it is getting a reaction positive or negative either way you are putting yourself out there.

I am sure you have seen my sponsor forum in the racing forum Yes in a way I am trolling for sponsors, but I am also asking for feedback and info to help me in the future.

I myself know that money dont grow on trees and after you have gone so far it really get pricey, so any help is apreciated by anyone and everyone.

Weather or not others think I'm wrong, how do you know unless you try. The only wrong way is to not try at all. Like I said earlier all the sponsors I have were found on a diesel forum. To knock on doors can work. Diesel motor sports are not well known to the general public. Until we get sponsors that we can show to others outside the diesel world the doors will remain closed. Every sponsor opens another door.

if you contact super swamper and talk to them, they will probably sponsor you, they sponsor about every other motorsport and im sure would gladly give up a free set and probably some other stuff to get their official name into truck pulling......

What you break now? I got blown head, bad pump and a list of things from last season. But no one hands out money to help on the Eastern shore.

Hell, they dont even pay out the prize money when you win a pull on the eastern shore
 
Dont forget M&H is the same company as Interco. You could try the 10% deal through NHRDA on a set of pulling tires.
