Spray on the sled pulling track YES or NO.

This is just intended as a poll not really open for discussion cause im sure it would not take long to become a pissing match. Have a wonderful Holiday!

Ever been to Florida I know you can do whatever you want down there they spray in some of them Sand Pulls pretty cool.

No
I say if you have to spray you dont know how to make real power

but if you mean water i say yes but if you mean :nos: then i say no

um... nah.

My reasoning is based on safety and potential power capabilities when using it. For example, it's already gonna take a really healthy build (support 700+rwhp) to compete successfully in the 2.6 class. Now, to make it survive through all that PLUS spraying it. I'd have to assume more than a few trucks would be flirting with or surpassing 1000rwhp in this class. So no, that is certainly not needed in the 2.6 street diesel classes, at least not now. The classes may evolve into power like that with time and technological advances but it sure ain't there yet and doesn't need to be until the technology is there to properly and SAFELY support it. People will be blowing up more stuff if it's allowed and the more chargers, drivelines and engines that blow apart, the bigger risk we run of a puller or bystander getting seriously hurt or killed and that'll pretty much be the end of that.

so yeah, I say keep it off the pulling track IMO.

p.s. exception maybe could be made for be an unlimited/open class but the safety rules have to be stringent and ADHERED to by everyone, not just the ones that are already mod trucks on #2. so a 2.8 or 3.o truck can't just strap the big bottles on and go out there and let 'er eat with the mod trucks unless they have all the safety items required for the class.

For the onlt time in my life I will quote Gale Banks "If you have to use NO2, you need to learn how to turbo charge!"

Hummm Gale must still be learning... he's got NOS on the d-max in that bad a$$ s-10!!! Oh ya no the one that dont smoke...

what is the worse that can happen that is a safety issue?do you guys even know?have you tried it on a diesel?when you guys that are *****ing can put on a WEEKEND like this, you can make the rules.i hope dennis gets so pissed that he has a weggie waiting for you on his boat.deal with it or stay home.

I kinda don't care. It's cheap and potent. If everyone has it, it cuts out the cheaters.

It's about the only way to clean some of these trucks up, if the EPA ever cracked down on smoke. Well, you could allow twins and clean up a lot of it, but they'd need to be bigger than the limited twins currently allowed in the rules.

Maybe only allow it in the bigger classes so you don't get idiots running stupid HP on stock parts, etc.

No

Like the real power you're making?

I guess the Top fuel guys in the NHRA are not making real power either because they're using nitro and not real gas. :bang I say open it up to spray....I'd like to see more carnage on the track anyway. If they don't know what they're doing it'll show real quick :hehe:

I say if your making 700hp with 15k in your truck aka #2 and im making 700hp with 10k in my truck aka#2 plus nitrous you are the one who is the idiot. I can make my truck run as long as your truck if not longer on spray. You guys are just afraid of spray...period. you would have to learn how to use it to compete. Oh no not a redneck on #2 learning how to use electronics.... this is a stupid topic that is always brought up. I have a idea, as far as top street trucks this year at national trails..which would be a perfect place or ts we have a all out true street truck test.... the only way you can even win is if you pull and drag race... average out points on the two events and get your true street truck award... if it cant go down the track its not a street truck!

If you want it thats fine, but those with spray will need to follow stricter safety rules. mandatory u-joint sheilds, tranny blankets, cross bolts, engine shields.

we have to fallow those regardless of spray? the only thing I can think of that we be def. would be a kill switch.
