My vote is yes. If you've got the balls to run it just be prepared to fork the cash out to fix it.

I would rather see guys running just #2 and water on the track like the "tractor" guys do...they put out some crazy numbers on just #2 and water.

I say no. Might as well throw the rules out the door. Seems everyone is trying to get everything legal in every class. Before long the only thing different between each class will be the inducer bore. Nitrous would be stupid to add if you ask me.

i say no..

if allowed you would have guys coming in wiht a stock turbo truck 4 stages blah blah and ~1,000hp trucks on juice

one could say limit said class to X stages @ Y size jets..

i have seen stock turbo dmax push 700+rwhp with N20

water sure N20 no

almost completely defeate the beginer classes ws/2.5/2.6 classes.

yes some run it but i dont think it sould be everyone

If you want it thats fine, but those with spray will need to follow stricter safety rules. mandatory u-joint sheilds, tranny blankets, cross bolts, engine shields.

If it happens it wont just be the trucks that spray, it will be across the board, ALL TRUCKS will have SFI blow proof housings, full loops, engine shields, turbo shileds, etc.

Kind of kills the class by class step up, dont it?

I agree.
Its already bad enough that a properly built 2.6 truck can be in the 750hp+ range and most 2.6 classes dont require shields.

which reminds me...i need to add a tranny/bell housing blanket to my christmas list.

Gene's just upset because I can kick his A$$ LOL :hehe::kick:

Bull...You'd drive on the track, do a burnout, forget to hook to the sled, then take off like a raped ape when the flagman waved the green flag......while the sled operator just shakes his head and waves the next competitor onto the track..

:hehe:

who cares let em spray and watch some good carnage happen that or have seperate classes or group the guys sprayin together and the others on fuel together its fun to beat the guys sprayin whether its pullin or racing

Not sure why you guys think there will be more carnage. Nitrous is very safe due all of the electronically controlled progressive controllers out there now. well of course if you throw a massive pill in there and it just randomly hits at half track your gonna be giving out alot of driveline souvineers to the crowd. But with the progressive controllers you can up the nitrous to come on very slowly in very small increments. heck you could add even as small as 30 or 40 horsepower by using a small pill just to chill the intake air a tad to control egt's. Now dont get me wrong i dont think the sled pulling track is the place for nitrous but I just wanted kinda share my opinion about how easily nitrous can be controlled.

Dont worry bout the "rules" if ya wanna run it...hide it real good and run it...if not dont!!!

how easily nitrous can be controlled.

LOL, have you ever been to a sled pull? These guys can't control ANYTHING,more fuel more air more tire more clutch!!!!!!! and you think they will suddenly have a fit of common sense and use nitrous appropriately????:hehe:

The pullers are the epitome of MAX MAX MAX!!!!:woohoo:
