This is just intended as a poll not really open for discussion cause im sure it would not take long to become a pissing match. Brandon

:pop::pop::pop::pop::pop:

and it depends on the company putting on the sled pull some insurance companys wont cover :nos:

I have sprayed while pulling and it does make a difference. My vote is yes if you have the truck built right it should not be a problem.

Nitrous is not street legal so why is it allowed in a street class. Oh wait 2.6 with nos is workstock class. My bad fellas

The only trucks nos will help is the Fords. LOL The rest of the trucks allready make plenty of power.

I say no to most of the rules for a street class but my opinion does not matter i know.
We dont drive on the street with hanging weights,
we dont run nos
we dont have 1 inch suspension travel

The workstock, street class should be just that. Trailer pullers!!
If you want the other stuff, run the 2.8 class

Does seeing a 2.8 puller being drove to the hotel with weights on it count? Cause I have sen that.

Like the real power you're making?

I guess the Top fuel guys in the NHRA are not making real power either because they're using nitro and not real gas. :bang I say open it up to spray....I'd like to see more carnage on the track anyway. If they don't know what they're doing it'll show real quick :hehe:

never said i was making great real power just it doesnt belong on the pull track way to many people to close to the track for parts to go flying

way to many people to close to the track for parts to go flying

This makes you sound like you work for a insurance company or something.
I shouldnt have to build my trucks for the douches that stand to close to the track and would turn around and sue me because something went wrong on my truck setup. I stand right next to the track anytime i can, but i would not sue nor expect you to build around me. This is the problem with this country. Everybody takes the stupid liabil path and takes all the fun out of everything and i mean everything. F#$k liability!!!!

I dont like spray for reasons i allready stated.
Its not DIESEL POWER

WOW! How would you feel if you ended up sending parts into the crowd and hurting someone or possibly killing them! You need to take a little responsibility for your truck to (not saying that you dont)! He wasnt puting it as if he worked for an insurance company!

there is a big difference between nitrous and nitro methane.

Dont get to deep in what i said. I was not calling him out, but we all are adults and i should not make decisions building anything with the train of thought being
"This is what i want to do, but it might not work and have a accedental failure so i will go this other route" I believe in all the safety stuff but that statement and all the others come across as adults we are not responable for our own actions or stupidity whichever it may be.It could be the guy that didnt take the time to install proper safety equipment or the guy that takes it for granted that the competitor did take the time. No harm meant just a rant about giving in to the "man"

peace, Tim

LOL, have you ever been to a sled pull? These guys can't control ANYTHING,more fuel more air more tire more clutch!!!!!!! and you think they will suddenly have a fit of common sense and use nitrous appropriately????:hehe:

The pullers are the epitome of MAX MAX MAX!!!!:woohoo:

I completely understand what your saying. And yes i have been to many sledpulls and have a truck solely devoted to sled pulling only but if you havent used one of the progressive controllers you need to cause they are very neat. just plug the lap top up and tell the nitrous what you want it to do and your set.

Nitrous is the DEVIL...........LOLLOLLOL...waterboy.....why not give it 7ell....:nos: only in the unlimited class of course.
How could you class anything once you started using :nos:, charger size would be meaningless

Nitrous is like a Hot Chick with a STD, you want to hit it but your affraid of the consequences!

I say let em spray. only extra carnage will be holes in the block.

what is the worse that can happen that is a safety issue?do you guys even know?have you tried it on a diesel?when you guys that are *****ing can put on a WEEKEND like this, you can make the rules.i hope dennis gets so pissed that he has a weggie waiting for you on his boat.deal with it or stay home.

Ok how about you learn to make a little sense of your post before trying to act like a tough guy.

hmmm idk maybe chuck motor/charger parts into a crowd of people potentially seriously hurting someone or maybe even killing them. but i guess thats not bad*bdh*:bang:bang:bang

Yeah chucking Turbos Compressor housings and Turbine housing with enough force wil be just like a Frag Grenade.
