Standalone CR Sled trucks

If done correctly with a relay it shouldn't affect it. I guess it depends on what wire your trying to kill. Definitely don't want a power or com wire running to the rear of the truck.
 
With the stock ECM we never had problems with using a power wire. Im going to switch over to a air shut off and not have an electric shut off.

Danny, i assumed from the way they talked, they already knew this.
 
i saw a video of wesleys truck from saturday night..alls i got to say is it was moving until the electric issue..

The truck that WON the class was also a stand alone (bosch) CR truck too. Or so I've been told... It's the dillard truck - No Rest for The Wicked. Apparently it's got that driveline in it from the "$100k scheid-built 2.6 ford" that was talked about and ran last year. Admittedly, it runs like a MFer and beat some VERY respectable trucks (Game On & Black Jack, etc.)!!

Thought some of you all may appreciate that tidbit. :D Others may walk away grumbling. LOL
 
the ford was dillards last year... If they could keep drivetrain in it it would prob do alot better, Ive pulled against it 3 times and its broke everytime.. nothing against them but 100k?
 
Its a nv4500 now...only broke a ring gear this year to the best of my knowledge
 
Any of these stand alone cr trucks going to make it to the Platte City pull next weekend? Be good to see them on a hell of a power track...
 
A lot of our Ohio tracks are power tracks... you should come out this way rob.. I don't like driving..lol

Finally things are coming around with the zeus ..The trucks last 2 passes have been awesome..Thanks to a couple smart guys tuning!
 
hometown pull plain city ohio..yeha unlocked it rightat the end so it wouldnt kill the motor

You guys have any big events with payouts like Platte City? I would consider it when i get it running good again, made some changes, and now i have some bugs to work out. I plan on being at SDX, and the fleece pull.
 
Nothing like that.. maybe nadm hook pays like 1000. But I meant just to see what are dirts like compared to yours.. if platte was about 4 hrs id go.

Nice hook JT sounds like it is turning some more rpms down the track now. Are you running the gears I sent you?
