stock head bolts?

So whats the word on an old truck like mine with 231K on the clock? Leave it alone till it blows, or try to retorque, or what? I have heard that stock bolts taken up in 5lb increments works great, but what about old set in bolts like mine, leave em' alone?

I changed the stock bolts onw at a time for allen head bolts torqued to 90lbs. then turned 90 degrees w/ lubr on the threads and between the washer and bot head. I run 45psi more or less on the stock HG. No problems yet.

The main disadvantage to running tight stock head bolts is you do not get an ARP sticker for your window. JMO.

How long you been running this way, and where did you get the bolts?

I have been running that for a couple months now. In the near future I am goin to o-ring the head. I can't remember the name of the place, it was like a industrial bolt supplier or something I will see if I can find out the name.
